Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Koa Kameamea! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mirko Mirinda! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kameamea closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mirinda is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mirinda using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kameamea has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kameamea gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mirinda.
Mirinda wants a takedown but no success here.
Koa Kameamea has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mirko Mirinda. Mirinda throws an elbow that misses.

Mirinda should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kameamea lands a nice elbow. Mirinda tightens his grip and picks Kameamea up, before dumping him to the ground. Kameamea manages to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kameamea has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mirinda closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kameamea did well to prevent Mirinda getting side control. Kameamea is trying to get back to full guard.

Mirinda not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kameamea wants to improve his position but Mirinda is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Still in half guard, Mirinda seems content to control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
 OK we're going to have a standup here. Mirko Mirinda hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mirinda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kameamea tries to avoid it but Mirinda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kameamea to the ground. Kameamea escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kameamea is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kameamea tries to clinch but Mirinda is having none of it. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Mirinda has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kameamea is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

 The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mirko Mirinda wasn't active enough on the ground. Mirinda shoots in but no luck this time. Mirinda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kameamea sprawls well. Kameamea wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mirinda gets slowly back to his feet. Mirinda takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kameamea jabs Mirinda to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mirinda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Mirinda counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kameamea's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mirinda stopping the sweep attempt from Kameamea.
And that's the end of the fight! Mirko Mirinda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mirinda has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Foxton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Foxton keeping full guard, as Kord tries to pass. Kord slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Foxton gets caught flat footed, as Kord shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kord looking to sit in guard and control but Foxton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Foxton loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kord keeping moving, preventing Foxton from controlling successfully. Kord wants to sweep here but Foxton controlling him for the moment. Foxton trying to control the position from guard on top but Kord is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kord avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kord wants to stand and escape but Foxton is having none of it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kord gets the takedown into side control. Foxton is breathing heavily. Kord is looking to take a break and control but Foxton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

 Foxton is rocked! Kord in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Foxton looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Kord turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyrzykowski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Iverson swivels and escapes. Wyrzykowski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Iverson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Iverson. Iverson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Iverson tries to circle away but Wyrzykowski has him pinned against the cage. Iverson effectively controlling the action here.
Iverson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Iverson thows a body shot but no joy. Iverson misses with a wild combination.
Wyrzykowski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Iverson but Iverson pushes him off and we're back to square one.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nedved stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nedved paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hunter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hunter fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Nedved. Hunter throws a sloppy head kick and Nedved moves out of range easily. Nedved with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nedved connects with a body shot that sends Hunter's belly button to the back. Hunter dives in and grabs Nedved's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nedved pushes down on Hunter's head and hops out. Nice shot by Nedved. Nedved tests Hunter's chin there with a solid looking shot.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hunter walks into a stiff left hand from Nedved. Luka Nedved is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nedved connects with a body shot that sends Hunter's belly button to the back. Hunter closes the distance and clinches up with Nedved, looking for a takedown. Hunter pushes Nedved against the cage but Nedved circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter tries to break the clinch but Nedved is controlling the position. Hunter is looking to break free of the clinch but Nedved has double underhooks.
Hunter jumps into guard, dragging Nedved to the mat.
Nedved wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Hunter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nedved got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nedved has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hunter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nedved's guard.
Hunter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hunter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter trying to control the position from guard on top but Nedved is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hunter sitting in guard here, content to control. Nedved really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nedved has Hunter up against the cage in a clinch.
Nedved lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hunter breaks from the clinch.
Nedved keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hunter darts in trying to clinch and Nedved cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hunter tries to clinch but Nedved is having none of it. Hunter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nedved fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hunter, pushing him back against the cage. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Azrael Hunter will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Nedved's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nedved is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nedved connects with a nice looking jab.

 Hunter is rocked! Nedved Rushes Hunter and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Hunter is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Nedved Piles on the pressure and Hunter crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trainor has his takedown stuffed and Kenny counters with a head kick. King Kenny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kenny keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Trainor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kenny tries to avoid it but Trainor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kenny to the ground. Kenny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. King Kenny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trainer Trainor. Trainor shoots for a takedown but Kenny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Trainor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kenny as he jumps to the side. Kenny stuffs the takedown attempt from Trainor. Trainor gets slowly back to his feet.
Trainor drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Trainor throws a sloppy strike and Kenny has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Trainor is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Kenny!

Thompson is in close to Boris's body, working some short punches and elbows. Thompson throws an elbow that misses. Boris uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Thompson's guard. Nice move by Boris! Thompson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boris is one step ahead there. Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Boris wants to control from the top but Thompson keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boris stopping the sweep attempt from Thompson. Boris throwing strikes but missing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thompson is looking to control Boris's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thompson avoid being mounted?

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terry scores with a crisp jab that stopped San in his tracks.
 It looks like Gokou San has been cut. Terry throws a right and a left that both miss. Terry misses with a two punch combination.
San doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Terry misses with a few strikes there.
Terry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A punch combination from Terry misses. Terry jabs San to the body, keeping him at a distance. Terry slaps away a takedown attempt from San, before circling back to the center of the mat. Terry lands with a nice combination. San backs away looking to recover. San looks gassed! San stuffs the takedown attempt from Terry. Terry gets slowly back to his feet. San avoids a punch combination nicely.

Terry lands a left and a right that send San crashing to the mat, dazed. Terry thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Terry misses with a double jab.
Terry moves out of range as San strikes. Terry throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck San on the side of the head.
 That has opened up Gokou San's cut even more. Some wild striking there from San.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Terry throws a series of punches but San avoids them all with ease. San bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Terry misses with a body shot.

 The cut above Gokou San's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Terry misses with a jab, cross combination.

 Gokou San's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Terry just misses with a punch to the body.

and San counters with a takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. San controls the position. San working the head with strikes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. San in side control lands a decent elbow. San looks up at the clock and then as Terry takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, San smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Terry wants to control but San postures up. Terry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but San wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Terry wants to get back to his feet. Terry is letting San control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.  That's four minutes gone in the round. San cracks Terry with a big right hand but Terry just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Terry on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Terry tries to get out of the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. It looks like San might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Terry is looking to regain half guard here but San keeps moving and retains side control. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Terry dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gokou San's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Terry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Terry throws a right and a left that both miss. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Terry. Terry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that San can do to turn this around? Terry scores with a hook to the body. San takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A nice leg kick lands there from Terry. A jab from Terry finds it's way through San's defenses. Terry walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. San checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! San takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Terry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. San with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Terry to score with a decent uppercut.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gokou San's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johnny Terry! Johnny Terry is the new heavyweight champion! Johnny Terry was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
