The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mies sprawls well. Mies wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silva gets slowly back to his feet. Mies gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mies scores with a knee to the head.

Mies turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Silva looks gassed! Mies looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Silva is rocked! Mies just leaning against Silva, taking a breather. Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Mies finish him? Mies's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mies lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silva can't take much more of this! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrestler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hai. Wrestler takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orangotango lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Orangotango closes the distance and clinches. Sved prevents Orangotango from breaking the clinch. Sved looking to throw knees to the head but Orangotango is blocking nicely.
Sved throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Orangotango blocks it with crossed arms. Orangotango pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Orangotango's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sved lands an elbow inside. Sved displaying some good clinch control by pressing Orangotango up against the cage. Sved lands with an uppercut that bounces Orangotango off the cage and back into range. Sved takes the fight into the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sved's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Orangotango throws a jab but it's blocked by Sved. Orangotango misses the body punch and Sved counters by clinching up. Orangotango wants to get back to striking at distance but Sved won't allow it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sved moves out of range as Orangotango throws a body kick.
Sved pushes Orangotango up against the cage in a clinch. Orangotango tries to break the clinch but Sved is controlling the position. Sved lands a nice elbow from the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Scott Silva has been cut. McIllhenny lands a really nice looking cross but Silva seems unphased.
McIllhenny fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McIllhenny connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off. McIllhenny misses with a double jab.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McIllhenny circles away quickly and effectively. McIllhenny misses with the body kick and McIllhenny takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McIllhenny ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva throws a combination that misses and McIllhenny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. McIllhenny connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands. McIllhenny fails to land with a series of punches.

Pontes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pontes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pontes stands and steps away. Boxer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pontes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boxer, pushing him back against the cage. Pontes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boxer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pontes has hold of one of Boxer's legs. Boxer is fighting the takedown attempt but Pontes gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! God of Thunder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Silva! Silva regains half guard. God of Thunder is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Silva! God of Thunder fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

God of Thunder seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that God of Thunder has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Silva is staying active underneath God of Thunder, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bronson throws a lazy right hand but Rodrigues sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rodrigues moves into the clinch. Bronson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Bronson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Rodrigues tries to break the clinch but Bronson is controlling the position. Rodrigues trying to control the position but instead, Bronson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rodrigues into the cage. Rodrigues can't break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bronson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rodrigues's elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bronson manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Rodrigues manages to break the clinch.
Rodrigues closes the distance and pushes Bronson back into the cage. A shot in the inside from Bronson. Bronson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rodrigues backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Rodrigues to his knees! Bronson keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
