Bradley fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bradley shoots in for a takedown but Nieminen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Kino closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. KU did well to prevent Kino getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kino wants to pass to mount but KU is defending the position.
KU tries to roll over but Kino keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Pinoh Kino.

KU throws a right and a left that Kino avoids nicely.

Kino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching KU on his heels. He'll look to pass KU's guard now, I'm sure.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kino looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

KU tries to close the distance and clinch but Kino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kino lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

KU shoots in but Kino avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kino enables KU to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kino manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

KU is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kino defends well.

KU escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kino gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kino seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down KU for as long as he can get away with.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kino connects with a nice short shot to KU's temple.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pinoh Kino.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kino, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
