The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diablo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Er. Er obviously looking to wear him down.
Diablo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Diablo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circle momentarily. Er darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Diablo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Er is trying to control Diablo 's posture but Diablo avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diablo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Er!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diablo has control of Er's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Er regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Diablo is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Er is forced to tap! Great finish!

Dick Diablo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Ryota tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zulu swivels and escapes.

and Ryota counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
