0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scipio Africanus! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! England gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Africanus postures up in England's guard and throws a big left but England blocks it. Africanus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. England is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. England is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Africanus is controlling him. England looking to hit a scissor sweep but Africanus is one step ahead there. Africanus trying to control but England is working from the bottom. England has his foot on Africanus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Africanus works his way back into a safe position though. Africanus stopping the sweep attempt from England. England working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Africanus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Africanus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Africanus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Africanus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Africanus cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Africanus breaks from England's wrist control and lands an elbow. Africanus lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
England is wriggling around trying to escape.
England is breathing heavily. Africanus with shots to the head and body - England looks very uncomfortable down there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Africanus lands with some strikes. Africanus lands a big shot there that rocks England but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Hamz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hamz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Arnett.
Hamz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hamz throws a sloppy head kick and Arnett moves out of range easily. Hamz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hamz jabs Arnett right on the nose. Arnett blinks but takes it well. Hamz just misses with a punch to the body.
Hamz throws and low kick but Arnett moves out of range easily. Hamz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arnett. Hamz leaves Arnett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Arnett fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Arnett. Fresh Hamz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Arnett. Hamz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Curtis Arnett has been cut. Hamz lands a left and a right that send Arnett crashing to the mat, dazed. Hamz thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Arnett is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Some wild striking there from Hamz.

That's one minute gone in the round. Arnett misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Arnett seems to have recovered his senses. Arnett throws a chopping leg kick but Hamz manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hamz dips to his left and cracks Arnett with an uppercut! It's a brutal combination of punches from Hamz! Arnett is backing up but he can't get away as Hamz lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Arnett and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones cracks Daley with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Daley to stand back up!
Daley is rocked! Jimmy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Jones misses. Daley is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Daley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Daley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jones looks to land a combination but Daley avoids it well. Daley seems to have recovered his senses. Jones grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Daley takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Jones cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rum pushes Breitner up against the cage in a clinch. Rum is pressed up against the cage. Breitner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rum down to the mat. Rum avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Breitner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rum. That did some damage! Rum shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Breitner napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rum is chipping away with strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rum works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Breitner is looking for a sweep. Rum fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Rum must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Breitner wants to sweep here but Rum controlling him for the moment. Rum lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Rum looking to break Breitner's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Breitner remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Rum will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Breitner manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rum's guard. Nice work there by Breitner.

The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Breitner obliges. Breitner lands an elbow that stopped Rum in his tracks for a moment. Rum has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Breitner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Breitner looking for a takedown. Breitner working aggressively here.
Rum has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Breitner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Breitner prevents a body shot from Rum. Breitner has picked Rum up - he's going for a ride! Breitner dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Pound avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Joe misses. Pound turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Joe pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Joe checks a low kick from Pound. Joe throws the left hand but Pound avoids the punch easily. Joe throws a right hand that Pound ducks under and follows up with a left that Pound also avoids with ease. Pound throws a quick inside leg kick. Joe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pound can pounce on him.

It looks like Cottoneye Joe has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Joe scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Pound looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Joe keeping moving, preventing Pound from controlling successfully. Pound stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
