Min Sanity had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Punga shoots in looking for a takedown. Gerrard tries to sprawl out of it but Punga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Gerrard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
