The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nikeel.
Colt throws a leg kick which misses Nikeel's front leg but catches the back leg as Nikeel tries to avoid it.

Colt has taken the fight to the clinch.

Colt manages to break the clinch.
Colt closes the distance and clinches up with Nikeel, looking for a takedown. Colt pushes Nikeel against the cage but Nikeel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Armstrong dives in and grabs Bush's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bush pushes down on Armstrong's head and hops out.
Armstrong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bush shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Armstrong is trying to defend but Bush finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cherchil is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cherchil gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cherchil gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cherchil apologises and we restart here on the feet.
