The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Clark. Clark with a hook. Mister Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Elvington connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Elvington throws an overhand right that lands on Clark's shoulder, as Clark tries to avoid the shot. Clark throws a low kick but it's checked well by Elvington. Elvington is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clark. Elvington throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Clark on the side of the head. Clark misses with a looping right. Clark cracks Elvington with a good jab. Elvington misses with a low kick. Elvington blocks a head kick by Clark.

Penn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Nongkeeswuit scores with a three punch combo!

Penn gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wayne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wayne throws out a loose jab but Cunnigham uses good head movement to avoid it. Wayne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wayne lands an overhand right. Cunnigham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cunnigham will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cunnigham throws a body punch but Wayne moves out of range. Cunnigham shoots in but Wayne avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice jab there from Wayne. Cunnigham takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Nice straight punches there by Wayne. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wayne. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cunnigham. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Wayne connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wayne lands an overhand right.

Cunnigham stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wayne. Wayne stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wayne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wayne scores with a jab to the body. Wayne lands a big uppercut and Cunnigham crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cunnigham looks OK. Wayne waves Cunnigham back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wayne cracks Cunnigham with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cunnigham tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wayne pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cunnigham is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bong wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Bong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Evans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bong somewhat. Bong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evans defends it nicely. Evans connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. No luck for Bong with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billa Bong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bong tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Billa Bong has been cut. Bong wants to clinch but Evans slips to the side and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bong rushes Evans and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Evans throws a knee to the head but misses.

Bong content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Evans working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bong. Bong gets to his feet - Evans follows without any prompting. Evans lands a leg kick that knocks Bong off balance momentarily. Good leg kick by Evans there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Billa Bong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Bong looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Evans keeps the fight on the outside. Evans tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bong is able to avoid easily. Evans misses with a low kick. Bong tries to clinch but Evans moves away and Evans counters with an outside leg kick.
Bong darts in trying to clinch and Evans makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bong really felt that one! Bong tries to close the distance and clinch but Evans swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Evans will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bong closes the distance looking to clinch and Evans counters with a slapping leg kick. Evans throws a leg kick but Bong checks it. Quinton Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Let's see if he can advance position further. Bong is looking to advance position but Evans won't allow it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evans preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Bong is controlling the pace.

Evans is staying active underneath Bong, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Evans tries to roll over but Bong keeps him under control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Evans is looking to control Bong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Evans avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bong moves to clinch but Evans breaks away and Evans counters with a thumping low kick. Bong tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bong is looking to clinch. Bong closes the distance and clinches. Evans blocks an elbow strike. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Evans breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Bong looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Evans lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bong has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bong and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Evans circles away from the clinch attempt and Evans counters with a lovely straight right hand! Some bone on bone action there as Bong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A chopping leg kick lands by Evans. Evans throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bong. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bong clinches with his opponent.

Bong has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Evans is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bong wants to take the fight to the mat but Evans manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billa Bong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Evans lands a right hand. A shot in the inside from Evans. Bong gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Evans throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bong works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Evans works over Bong with some ground and pound from guard. Evans slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. You can see the frustration on Bong's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bong is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bong struggling a bit here. Evans is looking to take a break and control but Bong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Evans working the body and head with strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Evans lands an elbow. Bong is trying to improve his position. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Evans. Bong shrugs it off though. Evans stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Evans wants it to stay on the feet. Ninja shoots in and bounces Kovrov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ninja throws a strike but Kovrov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A punch combination from Kovrov misses. Kovrov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ninja fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kovrov on the side of the head. Kovrov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ninja tries a low kick but Kovrov avoids it. Ninja with a nice cross. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ninja lands a leg kick that knocks Kovrov off balance momentarily. Ninja lands with a kick to the temple. Kovrov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ninja closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kovrov circles away. Kovrov throws out a leg kick but Ninja moves out of range and Kovrov only half commits. Ninja has closed the distance and engaged Kovrov in a clinch.

Ninja's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kovrov tries to circle away but Ninja has him pinned against the cage. Kovrov can't break the clinch.

Afro Ninja showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kovrov. Ninja does a little dance to reset his feet. Kovrov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ninja lands a left and a right that send Kovrov crashing to the mat, dazed. Ninja thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kovrov is rocked! Afro Ninja seems to be getting the better of the standup. This has been an exciting period of action! Ninja dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Kovrov has had enough and taps out.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swagger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sanchez. Swagger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sanchez cracks the inside of Swagger's front leg. Sanchez misses with a straight right. Sanchez lands a nice leg kick that just misses Swagger's sensitive parts. Swagger gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Swagger throws a front kick that sends Sanchez stumbling back into the cage. Swagger throws the kick towards the body but Sanchez avoids it. Swagger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it. Sanchez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
