Cent shoots in looking for a takedown. Makunouchi tries to sprawl out of it but Cent keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Makunouchi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cent could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Makunouchi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cent to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Makunouchi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cent pulls down on the head and he's put Makunouchi to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long walks into a left hand.
Long tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wonka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Long somewhat.
Wonka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Long sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wonka lands a nice shot that snaps Long's head back.
Long takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wonka scores with a hook to the body. Long takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wonka lands a body shot.
Long changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wonka tries to avoid it but Long manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wonka to the ground. Wonka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wonka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Long looks gassed!
Wonka throws a right and a left that Long avoids nicely.
Long shoots in looking for a takedown. Wonka tries to sprawl out of it but Long keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wonka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Willy Wonka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Long.
Long takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Long with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wonka to score with a decent uppercut.
Long is rocked!
Long drops his hands momentarily. Wonka doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Long staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Long doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
