The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Minoza. Minoza misses the shot to the body. Nasri takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Minoza misses with a hook. Minoza throws a body punch but Nasri moves out of range. Nasri defending well as Minoza loads up on a big left hand. Minoza misses with a wild combination.
Nasri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nasri moves away from the strike by Minoza. Minoza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nasri. Nasri moves out of range of the strikes. Minoza missing with a left hand there. Nasri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Joseph Von Minoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Minoza cracks Nasri with a right hand to the side of the head.

Nasri slips under a jab from Minoza. Joseph Von Minoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Minoza loads up on a big right hand but Nasri slips the punch. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugg avoids the head kick by Tomba.
Tomba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hugg is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hugg wants to clinch up but Tomba keeps it at a distance. Hugg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tomba swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hugg closes the distance and pushes Tomba back into the cage. Hugg using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tomba has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winslow manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barnettov on his heels. He'll look to pass Barnettov's guard now, I'm sure. Winslow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Winslow wants to control from the top but Barnettov keeps moving. Winslow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Barnettov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Winslow defends well. Lazer walks into a stiff left hand from Assange. Assange stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westwood thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gracie if he has to take too many more of those.
Westwood drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Westwood pushes his legs off easily.
Westwood must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Westwood forces his way into half guard. Gracie blocking the ground and pound attempt from Westwood. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Westwood seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
