Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between TJ Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and I Sue SamSung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I Sue SamSung struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Hill needs to keep his hands up - Yikes had a free shot at his head there.
Kyle Yikes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hill shoots in and bounces Yikes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hill won't allow Yikes to get back to his feet.
Hill keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yikes's head.
Hill stays in close to Yikes's body and controls the position.
Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Yikes is working an open guard so Hill takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yikes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hill with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yikes to score with a decent uppercut.
Hill takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Hill's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yikes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hill scrambles back to his feet.
Yikes scores with a punch to the head.
Yikes connects with a body shot.
Yikes rushes Hill with punches - Hill moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Hill goes down! Yikes follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaffigan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Taylor is trying to defend but Gaffigan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Gaffigan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gaffigan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Taylor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gaffigan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Taylor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gaffigan to score an easy takedown into full guard.
