The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronbo fails to land with a series of punches.
Ronbo moves in looking to clinch but Lawrence pushes him off. Ronbo throws a solid leg kick but Lawrence takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ronbo. Ronbo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That kick from Ronbo tenderised Lawrence's leg. Lawrence is trying to keep his angry face on. Lawrence moves into range and clinches up with Ronbo. Ronbo trying to land knees to the body.
Ronbo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lawrence avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ronbo gets a clinch. Ronbo tries to break free but Lawrence pushes him back against the cage. Ronbo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ronbo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lawrence avoids it. Lawrence presses Ronbo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Lawrence is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ronbo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lawrence with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawrence won't allow Ronbo to sweep him here. Ronbo is working hard here to advance position. Ronbo wants to stand but Lawrence is controlling the position. Ronbo is breathing heavily. Lawrence stands up from Ronbo's guard - Lawrence perhaps looking for a knockout. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lawrence clinches with his opponent.
Ronbo is pressed up against the cage. Lawrence has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ronbo down to the mat. Ronbo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ronbo moves into range and clinches up with Lawrence. Ronbo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lawrence works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawrence sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ronbo's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ronbo actively working from the bottom here. Ronbo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lawrence is working away from the top position though. Lawrence seems to be working for a kimura but Ronbo defends the submission attempt. Ronbo is defending against the submission attempts here by Lawrence.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lawrence is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ronbo sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ronbo keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Ronbo is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marcus Lawrence will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ronbo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lawrence ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lawrence defending well as Ronbo loads up on a big left hand. Lawrence tries to clinch up. Lawrence shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ronbo sprawls well. Ronbo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet. Lawrence darts in trying to clinch and Ronbo counters with a crisp one two that drops Lawrence! Ronbo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lawrence to his feet! Lawrence is in big trouble! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ronbo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ronbo gets caught flat footed, as Lawrence shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lawrence is looking to work some ground and pound but Ronbo has wrist control. Ronbo is pulling down on Lawrence's head to control his posture. Ronbo wants to sweep here but Lawrence controlling him for the moment. Lawrence gets to his feet - Ronbo follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ronbo connects with a body shot that sends Lawrence's belly button to the back. The fight stays on the outside here - Lawrence looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lawrence shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ronbo as he jumps to the side. Ronbo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ronnie Ronbo is winning the standup battle so far. Ronbo lands with a slapping head kick. Ronbo catches Lawrence with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Ronbo stuffs the takedown attempt from Lawrence. Lawrence gets slowly back to his feet. Ronnie Ronbo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Lawrence. Lawrence has Ronbo up against the cage in a clinch.

Ronbo throws a combination that misses so Lawrence counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lawrence missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lawrence decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ronbo looks to land a combination. Lawrence sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Lawrence has managed to clinch.

Lawrence tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ronbo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lawrence dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ronbo. That did some damage! Ronbo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lawrence.

Lawrence throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ronbo's waist but Ronbo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lawrence off to one side. This has been an exciting period of action! Lawrence keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lawrence stands up from Ronbo's guard - Lawrence perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ronbo tries to clinch there but Lawrence circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ronnie Ronbo. I think Ronbo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fiasco. Fiasco throws a leg kick that is checked and Samcjez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fiasco's knee momentarily. Samcjez scores with a kick to the midsection. Samcjez throws a head kick but Fiasco moves out of range.
Samcjez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Fiasco turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fiasco checks the leg kick nicely there.
Fiasco scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Lupe Fiasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maccarone connects with a solid leg kick. Maccarone throws a sloppy head kick and Desperado moves out of range easily. Desperado digs a good body shot into Maccarone's ribs. Desperado feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Desperado postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maccarone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Desperado, into his guard. Maccarone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Desperado is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Desperado keeping moving, preventing Maccarone from controlling successfully. Maccarone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Maccarone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maccarone wants to control from the top but Desperado keeps moving. Maccarone has gone for a leg lock! Desperado slips out almost immediately though and dives into Maccarone's guard. Desperado would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Desperado tries to free his leg and advance position but Maccarone is retaining full guard. Maccarone trying to control the position.
Desperado decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maccarone, up you get! Desperado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Maccarone to score with a decent uppercut. Maccarone misses with a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Just shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Just, pushing him back against the cage. Ang stalls. Ang seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Just blocks a body shot from Ang. Just prevents a body shot from Ang. Ang throws a punch but it's blocked by Just. Ang stops a takedown attempt from Just.
