The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to clinch up but Machine circles away and keeps his distance. Machine misses with the combination.
Machine misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Machine looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well. Machine throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Machine takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jackson rushes Machine and presses him up against the cage. Jackson breaks the clinch.
Machine throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Machine tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jackson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A short right from Jackson.
Machine is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson lands with a light punch inside. Oh Machine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Machine is trying to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caves was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson. Jackson thows a body shot but no joy. A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Caves does a little dance to reset his feet. Caves fails with an attempt to clinch.
Caves keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jackson cracks Caves with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Caves. Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Caves moves away. Jackson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jackson throws a combination. Caves tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Jackson is looking to wear down Caves with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jackson misses with a straight left. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jackson misses the jab. Jackson connects with a jab.

Caves walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jackson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A lazy left from Jackson finds it's target. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Caves saw that one coming. Caves shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Caves defends well. Caves is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Caves throws a big elbow that misses. Caves working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Caves postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Caves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Caves from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caves throwing strikes but Jackson manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Caves is looking for a sweep. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Caves gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Caves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but Caves defends the submission attempt. Jones throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. McMan on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Jones tries for a kimura but McMan is defending well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The strikes coming from Jones are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Stef Jalz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Jalz does no damage. Jalz jabs Hulkster to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jalz scores with a nice head shot. The fight stays on the outside here - Hulkster looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hulkster throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jalz catches Hulkster with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A right-left combo lands from Jalz. Hulkster throws a jab but it's blocked by Jalz. Jalz misses with a few strikes there.

Nice takedown defense from Minasian. No joy for Kikkazz on that attempt. Kikkazz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Minasian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kikkazz somewhat. Kikkazz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kikkazz wants to pass the guard but Minasian is keeping the position.
