Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reinhart Vult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vult's choice of entrance music: War Machine by KISS. Reinhart Vult will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Reinhart Vult! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vult throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rua pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Vult is looking to clinch. Rua drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Vult throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rua checks the leg kick. Rua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rua just misses with a punch to the body.

Nice defenses there by Vult. Vult moves into the clinch. Vult will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rua up against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rua lands a hook to the side of the head. Rua tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Vult pushes off an throws an elbow but Rua leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Vult with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Vult lands a good knee to the midsection. Rua won't want to take too many of those. Rua working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vult looking to slow down the pace here. Rua swings wildly with an uppercut but Vult uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice glancing elbow lands by Vult. Still in the clinch, Vult scores with a nice short uppercut. Rua has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vult avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Vult lands with a right to the head. Rua tries a body shot but Vult blocks it.

It looks like Reinhart Vult has been cut. Vult's corner calls for a 1-2. Vult obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rua throws a right hand that Vult ducks under and follows up with a left that Vult also avoids with ease. Vult is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Vult misses the shot to the body. Rua moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Vult is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vult chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rua can pounce on him.
Vult is still on wobbly legs! Can Rua finish him? Rua looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Vult looks to score with a jab to the body but Rua is just out of range. Rua is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Vult is in big trouble! Rua is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Vult. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Mauricio Rua! Mauricio Rua decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Queensberry misses with a straight left. Queensberry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baaf paws at him with a jab and circles away. Queensberry looks for the body kick but Baaf saw that one coming. Some wild striking there from Baaf.
Queensberry lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Baaf throws a body punch but Queensberry moves out of range. Queensberry misses with a wild body shot. Queensberry sends Baaf crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Queensberry is motioning to the referee to let Baaf up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Allowin Baaf has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baaf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Queensberry. Baaf dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Queensberry. That did some damage! Queensberry uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Baaf. Oooooh!!! Queensberry has knocked Baaf down with a huge combo! Queensberry steps away and waves a wobbly Baaf back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Queensberry lands a really nice looking cross but Baaf seems unphased.
Oh Baaf is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A big left from Queensberry misses. Baaf ducks under a wild hook from Queensberry. Baaf gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Queensberry points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Baaf wakes up just in time to hear Queensberry thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cullen circles away from the clinch attempt and Cullen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That kick from Cullen tenderised Bowser's leg. Bowser is trying to keep his angry face on. Cullen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bowser manages to avoid it. Cullen scoring well with a low kick there.

Bowser fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cullen, pushing him back against the cage. Richard Cullen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cullen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Shibukawa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Shibukawa feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Orton sprawling to the canvas! Orton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Shibukawa finish him?!
That has opened up Randy Orton's cut even more. Shibukawa drops Orton with a straight right hand, right on the button! Shibukawa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moottoripaa's guard. Hioki gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hioki wants to clinch up but Moottoripaa keeps it at a distance.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Hioki connects with a body shot that sends Moottoripaa's belly button to the back. Hioki lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hioki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moottoripaa circles away quickly and effectively. Hioki looks to land a combination but Moottoripaa avoids it well. Hioki scores with a three punch combo!
Hioki slaps away a takedown attempt from Moottoripaa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moottoripaa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hioki did well to prevent Moottoripaa getting side control. Moottoripaa is working for a kimura here but Hioki manages to reverse the position and he's now in Moottoripaa's guard.

Moottoripaa is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hioki wants to pass the guard but Moottoripaa is defending well. Hioki is looking for a kimura but Moottoripaa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hioki to get the leverage. Moottoripaa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hioki is working away from the top position though. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hioki is working for a kimura but Moottoripaa is defending it quite comfortably.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sjask lands a jab to the nose. Gracie misses with a head kick.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Sjask sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sjask digs a good hook to Gracie's body.

Sjask scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sjask throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely. The fight stays on the outside here - Sjask looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gracie moves out of range of the body kick. Sjask just misses with a punch to the body.

Atsushi Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie tries to land a front kick but Sjask steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A decent looking cross lands there for Sjask. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sjask enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sjask manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gracie trying to move into half guard but instead Sjask has managed to sweep! Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sjask is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. Gracie working a defensive guard here.

We're going to have a standup here because Atsushi Gracie wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. The crowd cheers as Sjask lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gracie doesn't seem phased though. Sjing Sjask is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sjask blocks the body kick.

Nice body punch from Sjask. An inside leg kick lands from Sjask. Gracie has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sjask. Sjask throws a nice inside leg kick. Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Sjask. Sjask throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gracie is breathing heavily. Sjask swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sjask works Gracie's body with a nice hook. Sjask throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sjask connects with a body shot that sends Gracie's belly button to the back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sjask can pounce on him.
Sjask sizes up Gracie with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sjask tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gracie throws a front kick aimed at Sjask's knee but Sjask avoids it well. Gracie looks to throw a body kick and Sjask counters with a nice low kick that buckles Gracie's knee momentarily. Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Sjask lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts. Sjask throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.

Sjask is looking to clinch. A shot to the liver by Sjask. Beautiful body shot. Gracie walks into a jab. Gracie takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sjask throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie. Gracie steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sjask. That one must have hurt. Sjask fails with an attempt to clinch.

Sjask throws a punch but it's blocked by Gracie. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sjask lands a right hand. Sjask landing knees to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sjask gets through Gracie's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Sjask. Sjask scores with a shoulder strike. Sjask lands a hook that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

Sjask lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A short uppercut from Sjask. Sjask lands a hook to the side of the head. Sjask lands with a light punch inside. Sjask lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sjask lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Sjask lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. Sjask lands a left hand.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sjask creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sjask lands with a right to the head. Gracie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sjask is defending well for now. Still in the clinch, Sjask scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gracie is rocked! Sjask lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sjask dips a shoulder and cracks Gracie with a mighty uppercut! Gracie falls back against the cage and Sjask unloads with a barrage of strikes! Gracie is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sjask screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
