0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dominick Barao! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barao connects with a body shot. Barao is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Barao slaps away a takedown attempt from HO, before circling back to the center of the mat. Barao gets the takedown into side control. HO gets back to half guard. Barao prevents HO from improving his position. HO actively working from the bottom here. Barao wants to stand up but HO has a hold of him and won't allow it. HO is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Barao's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Barao's back! HO somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barao trying to control the action but HO just sinks the hooks in. HO is landing with strikes from the back. Barao looks gassed! HO misses with punches from the back. HO scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Barao takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Barao is rocked! Barao covering up well under a barage of strikes. Barao is still in real trouble! Can HO finish him? Barao covering up well and avoiding damage. Barao seems to have recovered his senses. HO misses with a punch to the head. HO scores with strikes from the back.
Can Barao hold on?! HO is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Barao is trapped and HO is scoring with shots to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barao wants to get back to his feet.

HO lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Barao is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lilb ss! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sockem's guard. ss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sockem is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of ss, into his guard. Sockem wants to get up but he can't break ss's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. ss is looking to sinch up a triangle. Sockem throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to ss's body to avoid the submission. ss has instead reached around Sockem's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! ss arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Lilb ss! Lilb ss took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Android Three! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Three decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Three is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Putra defends it well. Putra makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Putra. Three avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Three stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Putra swivels though and keeps the full guard. Three drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Three jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Three drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Putra manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Three has Putra in his guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Putra drops back looking for a leg! Three is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Three manages to kick Putra off! Putra jumps back into Three's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Putra throwing strikes from guard but Three blocks nicely. Putra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Putra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Three utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Putra working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Putra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Putra sitting in guard, not really doing much. Three looks gassed! Three working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Putra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Putra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Putra will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Three preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Putra trying to control the position from guard on top but Three is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Putra passes Three's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Putra seems to be working for a kimura but Three defends the submission attempt. Putra is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Putra passes to side control. Putra is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Three is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Atep Putra dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Three shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Putra working a defensive guard here.
Putra pulls Three in close to prevent any damage. Three is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Putra is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Putra has escaped and now he's on top! Putra works a leg free and moves into half guard. Three is staying active underneath Putra, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Atep Putra overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Putra moves into full mount! Three won't be happy about that! Three is breathing heavily. Three wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Putra.

A nice elbow there by Putra. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Putra pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Putra working Three over with strikes here. Putra lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Three hang on? Three defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Putra. Putra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Putra with a couple of short strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Putra in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Putra tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Three is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Putra locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Three is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dynamite. Dynamite changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ferguson tries to avoid it but Dynamite manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ferguson to the ground. Ferguson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ferguson fakes the leg kick and cracks Dynamite in the body. Ferguson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dynamite's head. Ferguson looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Ferguson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dynamite. Dynamite throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ferguson misses with a kick to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Dynamite sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Dynamite is breathing heavily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Ferguson. Jonothan Ferguson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dynamite shoots in for a double leg but Ferguson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jak Dynamite. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good leg kick by Ferguson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ferguson slams his shin into Dynamite's torso. Ferguson keeps Dynamite at a distance using the push kick. Ferguson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dynamite. Ferguson throws a head kick that half lands.

Jonothan Ferguson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferguson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Dynamite will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Ferguson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dynamite has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ferguson.
Dynamite takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Ferguson is looking to slow Dynamite down with leg kicks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dynamite has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ferguson. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dynamite crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ferguson - the referee stops the clock and Dynamite gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ferguson. Dynamite manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonothan Ferguson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jak Dynamite's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ferguson throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Dynamite decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ferguson's guard. Ferguson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dynamite is one step ahead there. Dynamite throwing strikes but missing. Dynamite wanted to stand there but Ferguson had control of the position. Dynamite decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dynamite tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A nice leg kick lands there from Ferguson. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ferguson. Ferguson throws a front kick that sends Dynamite stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonothan Ferguson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jak Dynamite's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ferguson. Dynamite shrugs it off though. Ferguson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dynamite will feel that in the morning.

Ferguson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Ferguson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ferguson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ferguson throws a nice outside leg kick. Ferguson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giannacopulos scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jagatic looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Giannacopulos decides to take the fight back to the feet. Giannacopulos looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Giannacopulos decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jagatic, up you get! Giannacopulos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Giannacopulos lands in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jagatic is working an open guard so Giannacopulos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Giannacopulos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Giannacopulos showed some decent athleticism there.
Jagatic is rocked! Giannacopulos decides to stand up. Oh Jagatic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Giannacopulos shoots in for a takedown. 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Akiyana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Kross! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akiyana tries to clinch but Kross is having none of it. Kross forces Akiyana back against the cage and clinches. Akiyana jumps guard but Kross stands there with Akiyana around his waist. Akiyana gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kross has had enough of the clinch but Akiyana keeps him there for the moment. Kross tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Akiyana's elbow. Kross pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Akiyana is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kross pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshihiro Akiyana. Kross throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kross tries to pass to full mount but Akiyana defends it. Kross thows a huge punch but Akiyana dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kross wants to control but Akiyana is keeping him busy. Kross lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Akiyana down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kross tries to advance to mount but can't. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kross advances to mount. Kross lands a heavy elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Kross dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yoshihiro Akiyana's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kross lands a jab-cross combination. A punch combination from Kross misses. Kross throws a nice looking combination but Akiyana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kross swinging wildly here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kross pulls Akiyana in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kross keeping moving, preventing Akiyana from controlling successfully.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kross breaks from Akiyana's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kross wants to control the pace but Akiyana is squirming around nicely. Kross prevents Akiyana from getting the reversal. Nick Kross is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kross looking to control and managing it successfully. Kross's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Kross has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Yoshihiro Akiyana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Nick Kross hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kross clinches with his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Nick Kross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
