The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boum circles away quickly and effectively.
Boum fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bomb rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boum moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boum dips to his left and cracks Bomb with an uppercut!
Boum moves in looking to clinch but Bomb pushes him off.
Tiny Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bomb misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boum connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bomb is breathing heavily.
Bomb takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boum moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bomb is rocked!
Boum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bomb stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Bomb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bomb swats away the attempt to clinch by Boum.
Boum weaves into range and cracks Bomb right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Bomb goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Boum is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

I think Franklin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nas- Ether. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Moreno lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Rich Franklin has been cut.
Moreno swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moreno moves into range and clinches up with Franklin.
Moreno is looking to break free of the clinch but Franklin has double underhooks.
Moreno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moreno looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Franklin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like AnthonyH Moreno has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Franklin throws out a head kick that Moreno doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Moreno crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Moreno's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Franklin scores with a big combo that sends Moreno crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Moreno flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Franklin jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.

After the fight, Rich Franklin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
