3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Cabeza! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Ericsson. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cabeza can do anything to dispel that myth. Cabeza is looking to regain half guard here but Ericsson keeps moving and retains side control. Ericsson working the ground and pound. Ericsson cracks Cabeza with a big right hand but Cabeza just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cabeza tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ericsson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ericsson avoids the strikes from the bottom by Cabeza. Ericsson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cabeza sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ericsson trying to control the action but Cabeza is working from the bottom. Cabeza takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Cabeza is looking for a sweep. Ericsson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cabeza, who protects the arm well. Ericsson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Cabeza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Chikatilo. Chikatilo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fairfax is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fairfax and Chikatilo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fairfax is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fairfax gets back to half guard. Chikatilo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Fairfax moves away from the strike by Chikatilo. Fairfax closes the distance but Chikatilo moves to the side and Chikatilo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chikatilo, as that shot connected.
Richard Fairfax has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chikatilo lands with a straight right. Fairfax didn't see that one coming. Fairfax is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A punch combination from Chikatilo misses. Fairfax tries to clinch but Chikatilo is having none of it. Andrei Chikatilo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chikatilo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fairfax pinned against the cage. Fairfax gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fairfax misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Andrei Chikatilo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chikatilo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Foster. Dole drops Foster with a beautiful combination! Foster stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dole is looking for the KO!
