Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Trey Farmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Bromley! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bromley throws an overhand right that lands on Farmer's shoulder, as Farmer tries to avoid the shot. Farmer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bromley was covering up waiting for the punch and Farmer finishes the takedown easily into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Farmer stands and steps away. Bromley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bromley throws a body kick that misses. Bromley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Farmer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bromley shoots in for a takedown but Farmer shows good takedown defense. Farmer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bromley wants to stand but Farmer is controlling the position. Farmer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bromley misses with a hook. Farmer ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bromley lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Farmer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bromley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Farmer somewhat. Farmer blocks a head kick by Bromley.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Bromley. Trey Farmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Bromley. Farmer closes the distance and clinches up with Bromley, looking for a takedown. Farmer pushes Bromley against the cage but Bromley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bromley looks for the body kick but Farmer saw that one coming. Farmer shoots in and gets a takedown into Bromley's guard. Farmer is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Farmer trying to control the position from guard on top but Bromley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bromley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Farmer dives into side control.
Bromley tries to escape but Farmer is in control. Farmer taking a breather here. Bromley is trying to buck Farmer off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bromley tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Farmer easily slips into full mount! Bromley wants to control but Farmer is having none of it. Farmer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bromley is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Farmer has taken his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Farmer punches Bromley on the ear. Farmer seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Bromley's chin but Bromley turns very nicely into Farmer's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Bromley.

Bromley tries to work over Farmer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Bromley displaying some good clinch control by pressing Farmer up against the cage. Farmer blocks a body shot from Bromley. Farmer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Farmer goes for a takedown attempt but Bromley pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farmer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bromley wants to hold on but Farmer pushes him away. Bromley trying desperately to get to his feet.
Farmer prevents Bromley from getting the reversal. Farmer wants to finish this one by submission but Bromley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Farmer. Bromley is bucking up trying to escape but Farmer cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bromley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Farmer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bromley's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bromley reaches up to try and control the position but Farmer seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Bromley rolls and tries to escape and now Farmer has his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bromley can't escape the position.
Bromley trying to get back to his feet but Farmer is in full control for now. Bromley defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Farmer is controlling Bromley's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Farmer being controlled here, momentarily. Bromley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Farmer is keeping the position for now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bromley looking to sit in guard and control but Farmer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Farmer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Farmer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bromley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Farmer is really struggling to control Bromley but he's trying to hold on to the position. Trey Farmer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bromley wants to get back to his feet.

Farmer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Farmer trying to control the position from guard on top but Bromley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

David Bromley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bromley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Farmer counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bromley is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Farmer lands a few punches from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bromley is trying to escape the position but Farmer is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Trey Farmer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Farmer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Jones shoots in for a takedown but Franklin shows good takedown defense. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Franklin, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Franklin against the cage but Franklin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. No joy there for Franklin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Franklin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franklin on the ground. Jones is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jones manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Franklin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Franklin tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Franklin to the ground. Franklin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones shoots in and drives through. Franklin sprawls well. Franklin leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Franklin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Franklin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pat Franklin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jones takes a swing at Franklin's ribcage but misses. A combination from Franklin does no damage. Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reeves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mazuke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Reeves shoots in and gets a takedown into Mazuke's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Reeves trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reeves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mazuke throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Reeves drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reeves jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Reeves stands and throws Mazuke's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mazuke misses with an elbow from the bottom. Reeves is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mazuke looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reeves gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mazuke is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reeves lets go of the hold and Mazuke can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Alex Reeves! In his post fight interview, Alex Reeves started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Ariffin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lannister. Ariffin moves in looking to clinch but Lannister pushes him off. Lannister yanks on the arm and Ariffin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lannister.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yakult Hanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lyle Willems! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Willems does it's job there. Willems fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hanson, pushing him back against the cage. Willems lands with a left to the head.
Hanson is rocked! Willems dips a shoulder and cracks Hanson with a mighty uppercut! Hanson falls back against the cage and Willems unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hanson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Willems screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
