OConnell swings for the body but Bot moves out of range.
OConnell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bot.
Bot wants to clinch up but OConnell keeps it at a distance.
OConnell lands with a cross.
OConnell cracks Bot with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

OConnell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
OConnell works Bot's body with a nice hook.
Bot is breathing heavily.
OConnell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
OConnell just misses with a punch to the body.

Bot shoots in looking for a takedown but OConnell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

OConnell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bot doesn't seem bothered though.

Bot keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Santan. Santan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Erwin Santan has been cut.
Ramirez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ramirez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ramirez connects with a nice cross there... Santan is looking wobbly and Ramirez recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Santan to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ramirez jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Mac throws a leg kick but Cooper moved away.
Cooper moves out of range as Mac throws a body kick.
Cooper swats away the attempt to clinch by Mac.
Mac moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cooper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mac - the referee stops the clock and Cooper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mac. Cooper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cooper is breathing heavily.
Mac bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cooper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cooper tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mac scores with a kick to the midsection.
Good leg kick by Mac there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mac forces Cooper back against the cage and clinches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mac jerks Cooper's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Cooper drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Mac goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Mac because Cooper was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Coldon looks to land a right hand but Paul moved out of range.
Paul is breathing heavily.
Coldon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paul sprawls well. Paul wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Coldon gets slowly back to his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hoivunen is trying to maintain the position but Poppy is very close to passing his half guard.

Poppy is working for a kimura but Hoivunen is defending it quite comfortably.
Poppy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Well, if Poppy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hoivunen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Sword cracks McSweeney with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sword immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! McSweeney is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sword!

After the fight, Kjell Sword was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
