Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mykka Hoivunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoivunen has chosen C SWEDEN SONG - swedish warriors as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hoivunen has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ramirez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ramirez duly obliges.
OConnell throws an overhand right that lands on Ramirez's shoulder, as Ramirez tries to avoid the shot.

Cooper pivots and extends the arm, McSweeney falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Cooper! Well done that man!

and Coldon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Santan wants to get back to his feet but Coldon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Paul keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Poppy misses with a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Poppy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Paul has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Paul and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Poppy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Paul's guard.

Poppy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Poppy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Poppy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Paul sees it coming and defends easily.
Paul on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paul tries to get out of the position.

Poppy is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Paul is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
