Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mykka Hoivunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Santan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoivunen comes to the cage accompanied by C SWEDEN SONG - swedish warriors. Hoivunen has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoivunen fails with the takedown.

Santan feints and as Hoivunen raises his hands in defense, Santan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hoivunen is breathing heavily.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Santan is nestled in close to Hoivunen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Santan! Hoivunen is hurt baaadly! Santan is firing away with more strikes - Hoivunen is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ramirez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bot sprawling to the canvas! Bot rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ramirez finish him?!

Bot is rocked!
Ramirez lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Bot falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ramirez dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Sword closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sword working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
