3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Zbigniew Ciosek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ieuan Williams! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ciosek throws a one two combo.
It looks like Ieuan Williams has been cut. Williams fails to land the takedown. Ciosek misses the shot to the body. Ciosek tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch. Ciosek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ciosek throws the left hand but Williams avoids the punch easily. Williams scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ciosek kicks Williams off and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slow jab from Williams misses its intended target. Williams misses with a looping right. Ciosek scores with a nice strike. 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Silver Back! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irons throws an overhand right that lands on Back's shoulder, as Back tries to avoid the shot. Back shoots in but Irons avoids the takedown attempt easily. Back shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Irons but Irons pushes him off and we're back to square one. Back just misses with a punch to the body.
Irons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Irons bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A left lands for Irons.
It looks like Silver Back has been cut. Irons displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Back. Castle Irons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Silver Back. Irons stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Irons wants it to stay on the feet. Irons takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Irons counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Irons throws a series of strikes that have Back backpedaling.
Back sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Irons misses with a looping left. A big left from Back misses. Irons throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Back stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Back thows a body shot but no joy. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Irons, as that shot connected.
Back lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Back clobbers Irons with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Back closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Irons quickly recovers to half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Irons is refusing to be controlled, as Back sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irons wants to improve his position but Back is controlling well.
Back wants to lay and pray for a moment but Irons keeps working. Irons knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Back on the ground. Back wants to pass the guard but Irons is defending well. Back throwing shots but Irons is blocking nicely. Back thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Irons's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Back landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Irons is not content to let Back control the position. Irons on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Irons tries to get out of the position. Back saw that one coming. Back fails with a takedown attempt. Back scores with a nice head shot. Irons turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Back shoots in but no luck this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Irons misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's going to take a lot out of Silver Back. Irons thows a body shot but no joy. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Irons.
Back misses the shot to the body. Irons takes one to the side of the head.
An inside leg kick lands from Irons. Back moves forwards but Irons connects with a nice, crisp jab. Irons lets loose with a powerful body kick. Back will feel that in the morning. They are putting on a show! Back swats away the attempt to clinch by Irons. Irons swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Irons wants to clinch up but Back keeps it at a distance. Back jabs Irons to the body, keeping him at a distance. Irons lands a nice shot that snaps Back's head back.

Back fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Irons manages to avoid it. Irons throws a head kick that half lands.
Back ducks under a wild hook from Irons. Irons throws a hook to the side of Back's head but Back sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Back just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Back misses the target. Back misses the shot to the body. Irons feints and then cracks Back's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Back down. Back shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Irons but Irons pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Castle Irons is winning the standup battle so far. A swing and a miss from Irons. Irons scores with a jab. Back acknowledges it with a nod of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Excellent takedown into side control there by Back. Irons is trying to control Back's posture but Back avoids it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Back landing a few strikes. Back throws an elbow but Irons slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Back breaks from Irons's wrist control and lands an elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Back working the ground and pound effectively.
Back landing strikes from the mount and Irons is in trouble! Back lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Irons hang on? Back prevents Irons from getting the reversal. Back lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Irons seems to have got his legs back now. Back lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Keyes. Pirhana checks a low kick from Keyes. Keyes tries to work over Pirhana's front leg with a kick but Pirhana checks it. Pirhana looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Pirhana missing with a left hand there. Keyes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Keyes misses the shot to the body. Pirhana goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Pirhana tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Keyes was well out of range. Poor timing from Pirhana. Keyes connects with a high kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Keyes takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Keyes throws a half hearted mid kick. Keyes lands with a nice combination. Pirhana backs away looking to recover.
Pirhana is rocked! Keyes walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pirhana drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Keyes swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pirhana's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linne moves out of range as Guy strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Linne. Guy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Linne.
Linne ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Linne moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Linne throws a leg kick but Guy checks it. Guy swats away the attempt to clinch by Linne. A nice leg kick lands there from Linne.

Guy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Linne moves away. Linne lands a nice shot that snaps Guy's head back.

Guy misses with a takedown attempt and Guy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Linne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guy moves away. Linne throws a nice looking combination but Guy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Guy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Linne pinned against the cage. Linne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Guy showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guy wants to pass to mount but Linne is defending the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Linne regains full guard. Nicely done. Guy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Linne trying to keep a closed guard but Guy is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mr Guy just wasn't active enough. Guy ducks under a wild hook from Linne. Linne takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Linne goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Linne lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guy dives in and grabs Linne's left leg, looking for a takedown. Linne pushes down on Guy's head and hops out. Guy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Linne avoids it really well and circles away. Linne throws a right hand that Guy ducks under and follows up with a left that Guy also avoids with ease. Linne misses with the combination.
A slow jab from Linne misses its intended target. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Guy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Linne to the mat! Linne manages to get full guard. Linne trying to control the position.

Guy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Linne counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Guy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Guy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Guy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Linne was well out of range. Poor timing from Guy. Linne chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Linne is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Linne lands with a shot to the body. Linne closes the distance and lands a one-two. That kick from Linne tenderised Guy's leg. Guy is trying to keep his angry face on. Linne lands with a right hand. Linne leaves Guy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Guy throws a hook but Linne blocks it. Linne thumps Guy with a low kick. Guy misses with a hook. Linne ducked under it nicely. Linne walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Guy misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Linne feints and then cracks Guy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guy down. Guy walks into a left hand. Linne gets in close and instigates a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Guy gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Linne regains guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Guy throws a big right hand that misses. Sebastien Linne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Guy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Linne scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Petrov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Roncesvalles swings and misses with a shot to the body and Petrov counters with a stiff right hand. Jonah Roncesvalles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roncesvalles misses with a right hand and Petrov counters with a good low kick that Roncesvalles was not able to check. Roncesvalles shoots in looking for a takedown. Petrov tries to sprawl out of it but Roncesvalles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Petrov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Petrov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Roncesvalles connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Petrov scrambles back to his feet. Petrov lands with a hook. Roncesvalles tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Petrov connects with a right hand. Roncesvalles shakes it off. Roncesvalles looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Roncesvalles connects with a nice looking jab.

Petrov prevents Roncesvalles from getting the reversal.

He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Roncesvalles content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Petrov has locked up a guillotine! Petrov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Roncesvalles is holding on here and Petrov must be using up a lot of energy. Roncesvalles has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Petrov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
