The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koira is looking to clinch.
Koira misses the shot to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McDonald.
McDonald throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Koira.
Koira tries to clinch but McDonald is having none of it.
McDonald on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McDonald lets loose with a powerful body kick. Koira will feel that in the morning.

A chopping leg kick lands by McDonald.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Koira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McDonald's waist but McDonald gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koira off to one side.
Koira shoots in looking for a takedown but McDonald manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Koira's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McDonald connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Koira scrambles back to his feet.

Garp's entrance music is Rammstein- Liebe ist für alle da. A fine choice. Rockefeller has chosen Mars, the Bringer of War as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hercules Rockefeller was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garp has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garp and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kaennorsing has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kaennorsing and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Berger shoots in looking for a takedown. England tries to sprawl out of it but Berger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. England manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
England connects with a good right hand that stumbles Berger. Berger circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and England counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Berger jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… England is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by England and Berger has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dieter Berger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Berger tries to score with some ground and pound. England controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Berger throwing strikes but England manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
