A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hatake is defended easily by Bollmann. Bollmann throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hatake counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hatake.
Hatake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hatake passes Bollmann's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hatake is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bollmann is just riding it out for now. Hatake eventually gives up the hold.
Hatake is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bollmann defends it well.

Hatake stands up from half guard. Hatake shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bollmann defends it nicely. Hatake changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bollmann tries to avoid it but Hatake manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bollmann to the ground. Bollmann escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fritz Bollmann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kakashi Hatake. Bollmann shoots in for a takedown but Hatake shows good takedown defense.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hatake enables Bollmann to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hatake manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Darren gets a clinch. Salonga prevents the takedown attempt.
Darren prevents Salonga from breaking the clinch. Darren pushes off an throws an elbow but Salonga leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Salonga gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Darren blocking the ground and pound attempt from Salonga. Salonga is thwarting Darren's attempts to control the position. Salonga is nestled in close to Darren, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Darren tries to get to full guard but Salonga has control of the leg. This has been an exciting period of action! Darren taking some punishment here, with Salonga in his half guard. Salonga thows a huge punch but Darren dodges it nicely.

Darren actively working from the bottom here. Salonga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Darren. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salonga thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Salonga is thwarting Darren's attempts to control the position.

Darren is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Salonga is aware though and is defending well. Salonga stands up over Darren, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salonga distracts Darren with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Salonga is working Darren over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salonga working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Darren's head. Salonga throws a big elbow that misses. Salonga throwing strikes from guard but Darren blocks nicely. Darren has momentary wrist control but Salonga slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salonga is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Salonga is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Salonga connects with a couple of short punches.

The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Stahlhandske slaps away a takedown attempt from Bigod, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bigod fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Waleran Bigod. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stahlhandske lands a nice looking body shot.

Bigod closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stahlhandske circles away. Bigod throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stahlhandske's waist but Stahlhandske gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bigod off to one side. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bigod takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stahlhandske moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Bigod checks a leg kick. Stahlhandske throws a leg kick that misses. Stahlhandske with a body punch. A glancing blow. Stahlhandske scores with a leg kick.
Bigod takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Stahlhandske tries to bum rush Bigod with a series of wild strikes but Bigod uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stahlhandske lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bigod has a takedown stuffed. Bigod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stahlhandske as he jumps to the side. Bigod with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stahlhandske to score with a decent uppercut. Bigod fails to land the takedown. Lennart Stahlhandske seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stahlhandske scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bigod. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Stahlhandske throws a combination. Bigod tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A right-left combo lands from Stahlhandske. Stahlhandske scores with a body shot.
Stahlhandske lands with a straight right. Bigod didn't see that one coming. Stahlhandske works the jab nicely. Stahlhandske cracks Bigod with an open hand slap.

Stahlhandske lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bigod at a distance.
Stahlhandske swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bigod. A chopping leg kick lands by Stahlhandske. Horrible takedown by Bigod or perhaps it was just good defense by Stahlhandske which made him look bad. Lennart Stahlhandske is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Good leg kick by Stahlhandske there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stahlhandske sizes up Bigod with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bigod takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bigod takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bigod takes one to the chin there. A cross from Stahlhandske lands.

Stahlhandske is one violent man!

Haavisto lands a jab to Liikanen's midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Liikanen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Haavisto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Haavisto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Liikanen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Haavisto misses with a body kick. Liikanen lands with a shot to the body. Haavisto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

A close round but Pertti Liikanen will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Liikanen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haavisto moves away. Haavisto slips a jab and a cross from Liikanen.
Haavisto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Haavisto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hannu Haavisto is winning the standup battle so far. Haavisto throws a lazy right hand but Liikanen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Haavisto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liikanen manages to avoid it. Haavisto looks to land a left hand but Liikanen moved out of range nicely. Liikanen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Liikanen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haavisto circles away quickly and effectively. Liikanen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haavisto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Liikanen is breathing heavily. Liikanen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Champ lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Champ lands a nice leg kick that just misses White's sensitive parts. This has been an exciting period of action! Champ lands a jab to the nose. White misses with a takedown attempt and Champ counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter White. That's going to take a lot out of him. White walks into a straight right hand from Champ.
