51 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulk Hogin! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaka throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kaka takes a swing at Hogin's ribcage but misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Hogin. Kaka does a little dance to reset his feet. Kaka avoids the head kick by Hogin.
Hogin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hogin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaka manages to avoid it. Hogin throws a sloppy head kick and Kaka moves out of range easily. Hogin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hogin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kaka is trying to control but can't.
Hogin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kaka could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hogin has cracked it and Kaka is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hogin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vilkuttaja misses with a straight left. Hamalainen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hamalainen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hamalainen working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Vilkuttaja's thigh. Vilkuttaja counters though and makes it back to full guard. Vilkuttaja working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hamalainen. Vilkuttaja is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Vilkuttaja looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vilkuttaja seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hamalainen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Hamalainen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Vilkuttaja postures up.
Hamalainen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hamalainen pulls Vilkuttaja in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vilkuttaja trying to control but Hamalainen is working from the bottom. Vilkuttaja stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hamalainen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hamalainen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamalainen keeping moving, preventing Vilkuttaja from controlling successfully. Hamalainen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Vilkuttaja doesn't defend quickly enough and Hamalainen has managed to lock this one up! Can Vilkuttaja escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hamalainen on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Zakrzewski. Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zakrzewski. Some wild striking there from Silva.
Silva getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Silva clinches up against the cage. Zakrzewski with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Zakrzewski looks gassed! A nice right hand lands inside from Silva. Zakrzewski lands with a light punch inside. Silva manages to break the clinch.

Silva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Silva catches Zakrzewski napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Zakrzewski to the canvas!
Zakrzewski is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva tries to stand but Zakrzewski is controlling from the bottom. Zakrzewski is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him? Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Silva stands up and beckons Zakrzewski to his feet. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zakrzewski circles away quickly and effectively. Silva circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zakrzewski to the canvas! Zakrzewski doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Silva keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Lilke is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lilke throws a head kick that misses. Lucas Vilas Boas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vilas Boas wants to clinch up but Lilke keeps it at a distance. Lilke darts in and clinches Vilas Boas up against the cage. Lilke blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fizzlesticks walks into a stiff left hand from Crim. Fizzlesticks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Crim blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A left hand lands to the body for Crim.
A short right from Crim. Fizzlesticks throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Crim avoids a wild elbow strike from Fizzlesticks. Crim misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Crim dips a shoulder and cracks Fizzlesticks with a mighty uppercut! Fizzlesticks falls back against the cage and Crim unloads with a barrage of strikes! Fizzlesticks is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Crim screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rudell Crim! Rudell Crim very nearly forgot to thank Mango Nutrition (90% Laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
