The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robbis swats away the attempt to clinch by Patterson. Robbis tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Patterson is able to avoid easily. Robbis avoids the head kick by Patterson.
Patterson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Robbis scores with a push kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Patterson.
Robbis throws a quick inside leg kick. A low kick from Robbis misses and Patterson counters by clinching up. Patterson using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish scores with a crisp jab that stopped Murphy in his tracks. Fish throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fish throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fish is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murphy. Fish misses the shot to the body. Fish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Murphy was well out of range. Poor timing from Fish. Fish blocks a head kick by Murphy.

Murphy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Murphy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fish misses with a body shot.

and Murphy counters with a thumping low kick. A slapping body kick lands there for Murphy. A slapping body kick lands there for Murphy. Fish looks gassed! Fish tries for a takedown but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murphy lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Tuna Fish has been cut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Murphy, right into the meat.
A head kick from Murphy lands but Fish takes it in his stride. A looping hook to the body misses from Fish. Murphy does a little dance to reset his feet. Murphy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

and Murphy counters with a solid body kick. Murphy lands a left and a right that send Fish crashing to the mat, dazed. Murphy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That has opened up Tuna Fish's cut even more. Murphy circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Fish drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Murphy follows Fish to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soprano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Franklin manages to avoid it. Soprano throws an overhand right that lands on Franklin's shoulder, as Franklin tries to avoid the shot. Soprano thows a body shot but no joy. Franklin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Soprano darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Soprano misses with a looping right. Soprano gets a clinch. A short left from Soprano. Soprano lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Soprano trying to control the position but instead, Franklin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Soprano into the cage. Franklin jumps guard and drags Soprano to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Franklin is trying to control the position but Soprano postures up. Franklin working for a triangle but Soprano defends it easily.

It looks like Enzo Soprano has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Franklin loads up on a big left hand. Soprano felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Franklin looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Soprano can't hide his disappointment, as Franklin celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chuck Franklin! Chuck Franklin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bolda throws a shot from downtown. Materla moves away and avoids it. Bolda bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Materla blocks a head kick by Bolda.
Materla throws a predictable looking body shot
and Bolda connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Materla clobbers Bolda with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Materla looks to score with a jab to the body but Bolda is just out of range. Materla steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bolda. Bolda on the wrong end of a nice jab. Materla tries a head kick but it misses.
This has been an exciting period of action! A head kick misses from Bolda. Bolda scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Materla tries to get to full guard but Bolda has control of the leg. Still in half guard, Bolda seems content to control. Bolda looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bolda drops his hands momentarily and Materla takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Materla is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bolda rather than just go for the knockout. Decent striking displayed by Materla there. Bolda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Materla. A head kick from Materla lands but Bolda takes it in his stride.

Bart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Name stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Bart with a nice cross. Name throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bart.

Name lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bart steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Name. Bart scores with a jab to the jaw. Bart stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bart moves into range and clinches up with Name. Name blocking some punches.

Bart lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Name keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Name lands a glancing blow to the side of Bart's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bart waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Name. A big right from Bart misses. Name with a nice cross. Bart is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Name. Name looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Name is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bart throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Name trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Name must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bart had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Name defends it easily. Bart keeping moving, preventing Name from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lukottaja Bart will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Name bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bart is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bart sneaks back into half guard. Name wants to pass to mount but Bart is defending the position. No Name has got the better of the ground game so far. Name prevents Bart from improving his position. Bart is trying to maintain the position but Name is very close to passing his half guard. Bart looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bart is refusing to be controlled, as Name sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bart wants to improve his position but Name is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bart manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bart isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Name stacks Bart on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Name! Name takes a little break here. Bart wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Name's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bart is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Name's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Bart tries to roll over but Name keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bart makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bart. Name trying to control the position from guard on top but Bart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bart working for a triangle but Name defends it easily.
Bart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bart is looking to sinch up a triangle. Name throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bart's body to avoid the submission. Bart has instead reached around Name's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bart arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A big right from Kunnas misses. Kunnas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kins's head backwards. Kunnas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kunnas. Kunnas throws a hook but Kins avoids it easily. Kunnas throws a lazy right hand but Kins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kins throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kins tries to close the distance and clinch but Kunnas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kunnas. Kunnas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kins.

Kins lands an elbow that stopped Kunnas in his tracks for a moment. A short right from Kunnas on the inside. Kunnas has a couple of punches blocked by Kins.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kins just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kunnas's brow. A nice left hand lands by Kins.

Kunnas throws a nice looking combination but Kins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kins misses with a body shot.
A shot to the body from Kins misses and Kunnas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kins thinking. Kins cracks a nice hook into Kunnas's ribs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kunnas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fighters circling - Kunnas throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kins walks into a stiff left hand from Kunnas. Kunnas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Daigon Kins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
