The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lulu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fighter as he jumps to the side. Lulu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lulu. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ho Lulu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lulu fails to land the takedown. Lulu with a lazy takedown attempt and Fighter counters with a nice body shot. Lulu is breathing heavily. Lulu fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Oooooh!!! Fighter has knocked Lulu down with a huge combo! Fighter steps away and waves a wobbly Lulu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Notta Can. Notta Can lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nodler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hype Fightert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nodler with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fightert to score with a decent uppercut. Nodler throws a right and a left that both miss. Fightert tries to keep at a distance but Nodler has taken the fight into the clinch. Nodler avoiding damage as Fightert throws knees to the body.
Fightert lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nodler or not. Fightert softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Fightert lands with a light punch inside. Fightert throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Nodler wants a takedown but no success here.
Fightert is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nodler is defending well for now. Nodler managing to block the knees to the body from Fightert.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ducca misses with a kick to the body.
Punk forces Ducca back against the cage and clinches. Ducca has had enough of the clinch but Punk keeps him there for the moment. Punk breaks from the clinch.
Punk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ducca keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Punk is trying to control. Ducca wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Punk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Punk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ducca with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Punk tries to pass to full mount but Ducca defends it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Punk lands a nice short elbow. Ducca is looking to control Punk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ducca avoid being mounted? Punk trying to control the action but Ducca is working from the bottom. Ducca on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ducca looks gassed!

Ducca pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Punk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Punk controlling the action here.

Punk is trying to control the action in half guard but Ducca is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Punk wants to pass to mount but Ducca is defending the position. Ducca is staying active underneath Punk, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Punk seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Punk looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Punk is keen to just control but Ducca is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cm Punk dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ducca is looking to score with low kicks. Punk looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ducca! Punk dominating with strikes here. Punk lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Punk trying to control but he's not successful this time. Punk with shots to the head and body - Ducca looks very uncomfortable down there. Cm Punk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ducca is breathing heavily. Punk wants to control the pace but Ducca is squirming around nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Punk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Punk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ducca looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ducca is not content to let Punk control the position. Punk looks up at the clock and then as Ducca takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Punk smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Punk decides to stand back up. Punk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ducca sprawls well initially but Punk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Punk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ducca's face.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brock with a lazy takedown attempt and Barton counters with a series of strikes. Brock will be more careful next time no doubt. Brock shoots for a double leg takedown but Barton sprawls well. He's pushed Brock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Barton throws a lazy right hand but Brock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Barton fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brock checks it well. Barton throws a body punch but Brock moves out of range. Barton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brock stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Brock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Barton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
