Bangura Bangura lands a really nice looking cross but Hains seems unphased.
Bangura Bangura keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hains has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bangura Bangura finds it's way round the side to connect with Hains's head.

Hains throws a front kick aimed at Bangura Bangura's knee but Bangura Bangura avoids it well.
Hains is still on wobbly legs! Can Bangura Bangura finish him?
Bangura Bangura connects with a solid leg kick.
Hains get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Hains stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Bangura Bangura runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Awesome is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Jones is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Awesome reverses the position - he's now on top in Jones's guard.

Awesome seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Mister Awesome wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Awesome - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Awesome. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Awesome stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
Awesome rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Awesome.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Awesome.
Awesome tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Awesome misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

Awesome closes the distance and clinches.
Jones has Awesome pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Awesome manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Awesome's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The referee is keeping an eye on Black - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Cantrell tries to work over Black's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Black wants the takedown. Cantrell is fighting it off but Black persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cantrell's guard against the cage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Black got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cantrell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Black has managed to get both his arms back between Cantrell's legs - danger averted.
Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Russell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Goc.
A lazy left from Goc finds it's target.

Goc lands a big head kick that sends Russell tumbling to the mat! Goc takes a step backwards and waves Russell back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Goc throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Russell crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
