The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Bolinev. Bolinev throws a good cross that connects.
Alexander Bolinev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kahaunaele has his takedown stuffed and Bolinev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kahaunaele throws a body kick that misses enabling Bolinev to counter with a crisp jab. Kahaunaele tries for a takedown but Bolinev circles away easily and Bolinev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A big right from Bolinev misses. Bolinev gets the takedown into side control. Bolinev sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kahaunaele is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Kahaunaele preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Kahaunaele wants to improve his position but Bolinev is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bolinev feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kahaunaeles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kahaunaele's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bolinev connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kahaunaele scrambles back to his feet.

Kahaunaele is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bolinev wants to control from the top but Kahaunaele keeps moving.

Kahaunaele tries to reverse the position but Bolinev maintains control. Kahaunaele avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bolinev.

Kahaunaele is desperately trying to improve his position but Bolinev has a good base and remains in mount. Kahaunaele wants to hold on but Bolinev pushes him away. Kahaunaele is squirming around, avoiding Bolinev's attempts to control the action. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bolinev looking to control and managing it successfully. Kahaunaele is working to get back to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machida takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Alves drives through and clinches with Machida against the cage.
Machida tries to pull guard but Alves forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Alves lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Machida backwards. Alves has clasped his hands together around Machida's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Alves in side control, just content to control the action for now. Machida wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Alves has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Machida's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Machida is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Alves!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaczmarek. Jimw throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kaczmarek's head. Kaczmarek closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jimw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jimw is not content to let Kaczmarek control the position. Jimw controlling the position for now.

Jimw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. JIm Jimw is winning the standup battle so far. Jimw throws a sloppy head kick and Kaczmarek moves out of range easily. Jimw goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jimw tries to clinch there but Kaczmarek circles away.

Kaczmarek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jimw tries to avoid it but Kaczmarek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jimw to the ground. Jimw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kaczmarek fails to land the takedown. A combination from Jimw does no damage. Kaczmarek scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kaczmarek has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kaczmarek changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jimw looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Jimw's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kaczmarek stands up and beckons Jimw to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kaczmarek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jimw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaczmarek somewhat. Jimw looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kaczmarek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jimw tries to avoid it but Kaczmarek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jimw to the ground. Jimw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jimw throws a head kick but Kaczmarek moves out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaczmarek gets tackled into the cage by Jimw. Jimw maintains the clinch. Jimw breaks from the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that JIm Jimw will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jakub Kaczmarek's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Jimw wants to get back to his feet. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jimw tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Kaczmarek easily slips into full mount! Jimw tries to hold on but Kaczmarek postures up. Jimw blocking the ground and pound.

Jimw tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jimw tries to control the position but Kaczmarek now has his back.

Afolabi is rocked! Bader makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Afolabi is still in real trouble! Can Bader finish him? Bader lands a couple of elbows. Bader stands and throws Afolabi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
