0 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Free Win ! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Win throws a sloppy head kick and Marx counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Marx throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Marx throws a leg kick which misses Win 's front leg but catches the back leg as Win tries to avoid it. Win throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That kick from Marx tenderised Win 's leg. Win is trying to keep his angry face on. Win looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Marx closes the distance and pushes Win back into the cage. Marx breaks the clinch.
Marx drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Marx slips nicely into half guard. Marx perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ground and pound from Marx. Marx lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Marx seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nice strikes from Marx there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Win has hold of Marx's hands but Marx slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Marx keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Marx moves nicely into side control. Marx controlling the position. Marx is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Win looks calm but he's in trouble here. Marx gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Win is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Marx lets go of the hold and Win can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mark Marx! Mark Marx decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Sol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Lee had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Viktor Sol told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sol uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sol.
Sol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lee throws a nice outside leg kick. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sol moves away. Sol takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sol moves away. Sol tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Sol throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily. Lee throws a leg kick but Sol sees it coming and moves out of range. Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lee misses the shot to the body. Good exchange - Lee coming out on top. Sol looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. Eric Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Sol. Lee throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sol. Sol shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Eric Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sol shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lee misses with a low kick as Sol jumps back. Lee thows a body shot but no joy. Sol takes one to the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Sol on that attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sol's head. Lee misses with a looping left. Lee shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sol checks a low kick from Lee. Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sol manages to avoid it. Sol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lee tries to roll over but Sol keeps him under control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sol tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sol connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple. Lee avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sol. Lee wants to get back to full guard. Lee trying to control but Sol postures up.
Lee wants to improve his position but Sol is controlling well.
Sol sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though. Lee looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lee keeping control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sol pulls his head out easily. Sol is looking for a kimura but Lee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sol to get the leverage. Lee trying to control from the bottom.
Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sol is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sol raining down shots from the mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Sol avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sol changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Sol manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A cross from Lee lands. Sol slips under a jab from Lee. Lee throws a hook but Sol blocks it. Lee feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sols jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lee throws a hook to the side of Sol's head but Sol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lee lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sol at a distance.
Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing. A lazy left from Lee finds it's target. Sol shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sol dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Sol's head and hops out. Eric Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Viktor Sol. Lee misses with a body shot.
Eric Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Sol. Sol gets slowly back to his feet. Lee cracks Sol with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sol avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss. Lee throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Lee lands a slapping body shot.

Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with a straight right. Sol looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sol doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lee counters with a leg kick. Lee thows a left - swing and a miss! Sol changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Lee wants to control but Sol postures up. Lee is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sol connects with a decent elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sol tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Sol lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lee down.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard. Sol is putting a hurting on Lee here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee trying to control from half guard but Sol is working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Sol is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sol keeps working. Lee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to control. Sol wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eric Lee. Sol avoids the body shot from Lee.
Sol misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sol. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Sol's shoulder, as Sol tries to avoid the shot. Sol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee cracks Sol with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lee takes a swing at Sol's ribcage but misses. Lee throws a looping overhand right but Sol ducks down to avoid it. Lee looks to throw the jab but Sol is out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A big right from Lee misses. Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sol was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Sol. Sol with a poor takedown and Lee counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sol's knee momentarily. Sol fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lee to the ground. Sol is now in Lee's guard. Lee working for a triangle but Sol defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sol is one step ahead there. Sol content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sol trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lee keeping full guard, as Sol tries to pass. Sol missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Sol throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sol trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee wants to sweep but no luck. Lee keeping moving, preventing Sol from controlling successfully. Sol postures up.
Sol must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sol scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Eric Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sol is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Lee has momentary wrist control but Sol slips an elbow through the middle. Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sol gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee trying to keep a closed guard but Sol is proving a slippery customer.
Lee has control of Sol's left arm, preventing Sol from doing any damage. Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Sol works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sol missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sol moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sol sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lee is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Viktor Sol. I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Madafaka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Madafaka feints a jab promting Morris to slip. Madafaka then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morris slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Morris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Morris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Madafaka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Madafaka misses with a wild body shot. Morris looks to score with a jab to the body but Madafaka is just out of range. Morris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Madafaka defends it nicely. Morris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Madafaka moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Madafaka works the jab nicely. Madafaka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Morris has time to react. Madafaka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters circle momentarily. Madafaka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floor Jan stuffs the takedown attempt from Takimoto. Takimoto gets slowly back to his feet. Takimoto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takimoto checks a leg kick. Takimoto connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Takimoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Takimoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Floor Jan counters with a stiff right hand. Kenny Floor Jan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kazuyuki Takimoto. Takimoto throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Takimoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Takimoto closes this distance looking for a takedown but Floor Jan circles away. Nice sprawl there from Floor Jan as Takimoto shoots in. Takimoto feints and then cracks Floor Jan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Floor Jan down. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takimoto. Floor Jan lands a big right hand that sends Takimoto crashing to the mat! Floor Jan stays standing though and waves Takimoto back to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takimoto throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Floor Jan tries to clinch but Takimoto is having none of it. Floor Jan is looking to clinch but Takimoto is avoiding it.
Takimoto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Floor Jan. Floor Jan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Takimoto throws a hook but Floor Jan blocks it.
