The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cry circles away from the clinch attempt.
A big right from Cry misses. Cry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ferreira avoids it really well and circles away. Cry shoots in but Ferreira avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ferreira defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cry. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vergil Cry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ferreira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ferreira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ferreira lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ferreira lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Sloppy strikes from Ferreira. Those never looked like landing. Cry swats away the attempt to clinch by Ferreira. Ferreira fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cry fails with the takedown. Ferreira lands a right hook to the body.
Ferreira throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cry. Ferreira misses with a two punch combination.
Cry fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ferreira to the ground. Cry is now in Ferreira's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cry wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving. Ferreira striking off his back but it's not causing Cry any problems. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ferreira lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cry! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ferreira thowing shots but they're missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cry tries to lock up and control but Ferreira gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ferreira wants to control but Cry has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Ground and pound from Ferreira. Ferreira wants to stand up but Cry has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Cry is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. It looks like Ferreira is going to stand back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ferreira stuffs the takedown. Virgulino Ferreira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cry is rocked! Cry shoots for a takedown but Ferreira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ferreira throws a right and a left that Cry avoids nicely. Ferreira lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Oh Cry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cry takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. The fight stays on the outside here - Ferreira looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ferreira lands a brutal head kick. Cry looks out on his feet and Ferreira throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barboza moves into the clinch. Barboza tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Enriquez's elbow. Enriquez avoids the elbow strike from Barboza, against the cage.
Barboza makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Barboza lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Rene Enriquez has been cut. Barboza looks to throw an elbow but misses. Enriquez is still on wobbly legs! Can Barboza finish him? A nice left hand lands by Barboza.
Barboza has Enriquez pressed against the cage, preventing Enriquez from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Barboza has Enriquez pressed against the cage. He pushes Enriquez back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Barboza throws a beautiful elbow that sends Enriquez crashing to the floor! Barboza piles on the pressure with more strikes! Enriquez is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arishok defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Palhares. Palhares gets tackled into the cage by Arishok. Arishok maintains the clinch. Palhares has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Arishok avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Arishok breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Angin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Angin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Neo Angin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Badger feints and then cracks Angin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Angin down. Angin looks to throw a body kick and Badger counters with a nice body kick. Badger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Badger lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Badger drops Angin with a big left hand! Angin is injured, injured bad! Badger jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Dufva connects with a body shot. Dufva closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dufva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A solid body kick from Dufva. Askren closes the distance and clinches up with Dufva, looking for a takedown. Askren pushes Dufva against the cage but Dufva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Askren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dufva as he jumps to the side. Askren gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Askren. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Askren tries for a takedown but Dufva circles away easily and Dufva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Askren won't be happy with that. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Pulkkinen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Ricky Lee has been cut. Pulkkinen lands an overhand right.
Lee is rocked! Pulkkinen lands a really nice looking cross but Lee seems unphased.
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A low kick from Lee is predictable there and Pulkkinen counters with a two punch combo. Pulkkinen drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Pulkkinen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters circle momentarily. Pulkkinen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Pulkkinen takes a swing at Lee's ribcage but misses. Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lee thows a body shot but no joy. Pulkkinen swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Lee seems to have got his legs back now. Pulkkinen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Pulkkinen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Pulkkinen.
Lee tries to clinch up and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Pulkkinen looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range. Pulkkinen cracks Lee with a good jab. Lee is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Tapout has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hentschel finds it's way round the side to connect with Tapout's head.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hentschel lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tapout is looking to close the distance but Hentschel sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tapout crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tapout is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Gein! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedex doesn't manage to clinch there - Gein circles away.
Fedex with a poor takedown and Gein counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fedex darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fedex throwing shots but Gein is blocking nicely. Fedex thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gein's head. Fedex prevents Gein from improving his position. Fedex missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fedex thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fedex wants to pass to mount but Gein is defending the position. Fedex throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gein blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fedex. Ed Gein has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fedex fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gein throws out a loose jab but Fedex uses good head movement to avoid it. Fedex changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Fedex has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sloppy strikes there by Fedex. Gein is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Fedex decides to stand back up. Fedex steps back and let's Gein get back to his feet. Fedex misses with the combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gein lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fedex ducks right into an uppercut from Gein. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fedex misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fedex is defended easily by Gein. Fedex is breathing heavily. Gein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fedex. Fedex shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gein pinned against the cage. Gein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jab, jab by Gein - just one landing. Fedex with a lazy takedown attempt and Gein counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fedex fails with a takedown attempt. Gein misses with an uppercut. Fedex saw that one coming. Fedex fails with the takedown enabling Gein to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Iso Fedex will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fedex shoots in but Gein avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fedex looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gein is fending him off so far but Fedex persists. Nope, Gein circles away and we're back to standing. Fedex tries to clinch but Gein moves out of range. Gein throws a looping overhand right but Fedex ducks down to avoid it. Fedex ducks under a wild hook from Gein. Gein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fedex is rocked!
It looks like Iso Fedex has been cut. Iso Fedex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fedex walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Fedex limp body while Gein jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ghetto throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Retale works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close fourth round but Project Ghetto will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ghetto lands with a short head shot on the inside. Retale tries to land knees in the clinch but Ghetto avoids the damage to the body. Ghetto scores with an uppercut up the middle. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Retale just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ghetto's brow. Ghetto tries to throw a body punch but Retale avoids it by throwing Ghetto back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Ghetto scores with a nice short uppercut. Ghetto jumps guard.
Retale forces his way into half guard. Ghetto wants to get back to full guard. Ghetto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ghetto is looking to get back to full guard here but Retale has managed to pass to side control instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Retale looks up at the clock and then as Ghetto takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Retale smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Ghetto isn't going anywhere. Ghetto is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Retale throwing shots but Ghetto is blocking nicely. Retale performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ghetto is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ghetto wants to control but Retale passes into side.

Ghetto tries to bench press Retale off him but Retale keeps the position. Project Ghetto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Project Ghetto has got the better of the ground game so far. Retale trying to control the action but Ghetto is working from the bottom. Retale slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Retale sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ghetto is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Reiska Pekka Retale is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ghetto can't do much from the bottom here. Retale trying to control the action but Ghetto is working from the bottom. Ghetto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Retale just content to control the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ghetto tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Retale wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Retale working away. Ghetto might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Retale kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Retale pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ghetto pivots, looking for a leg kick but Retale is out of range and Ghetto settles back down. Retale does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ghetto throws a head kick that misses. Retale lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Retale digs a good body shot into Ghetto's ribs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Retale stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ghetto. Retale shoots in but no luck this time. Retale jabs Ghetto to the body, keeping him at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Project Ghetto. I think Retale has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
