The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coming keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hodges looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hodges wants to clinch and Coming counters with a body kick. Coming shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hodges's guard. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Coming and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coming throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Coming moves into range and clinches up with Hodges. Coming's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hodges keeping moving, preventing Coming from controlling successfully. Hodges trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Coming decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hodges, up you get! Coming throws a head kick but Hodges moves out of range.
Hodges drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hodges really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Coming looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hodges puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Hodges will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Coming wants to improve his position but Hodges is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Coming is trying to control but Hodges manages to pass to mount!

Hodges throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Coming is trying desperately to improve position. Coming tries to hold on but Hodges pushes him away. Justin Hodges has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Second Coming is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hodges looking to finish Coming with some ground and pound. This is bad for Coming!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Second Coming. Well Coming has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Tucker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tucker. Tucker jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tucker misses the shot to the body. Tucker misses with a hook. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Tucker is trying to get back to full guard. Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones is thwarting Tucker's attempts to control the position.

Jones feints and as Tucker raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tucker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tucker. Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but Tucker is defending well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tucker takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Tucker looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Tucker is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jones lets go of the hold and Tucker can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jhon Jones! Jhon Jones was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norman slips under a jab from Fuller. Fuller slaps away a takedown attempt from Norman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fuller misses the jab. Fuller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice shot by Fuller. Norman slips a straight right by Fuller. Fuller with a jab.
Norman is rocked! Norman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Oh Norman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fuller throws a big shot that misses. Norman backs away from a small jab... but Fuller lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Norman crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Fuller with a spectacular finish!

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Glenn! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Winter lands a lovely overhand right. Winter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Glenn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Glenn works his way to his opponent's back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! I really don't envy Winter right now.
Winter grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Glenn.
Winter is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Glenn is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Glenn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Winter is taking damage to the body and head.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Glenn in particular looking to stall. Winter is trying to get back to full guard. Alex Glenn dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Winter as Glenn shoots in. Winter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab from Winter does it's job there. Winter uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Winter's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Winter duly obliges. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice takedown defense from Winter. No joy for Glenn on that attempt. Winter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Glenn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Glenn showed some decent athleticism there. Winter is looking for a sweep. Glenn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Glenn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Winter controlling the position well. Glenn throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Glenn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Glenn is working for a kimura but Winter is defending it quite comfortably.

Winter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Glenn is working away from the top position though. Glenn performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Winter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Glenn's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glenn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ricky Winter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Glenn. Winter lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Glenn shoots for a takedown but Winter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Winter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Glenn. Glenn is breathing heavily. Glenn has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Winter finds it's way round the side to connect with Glenn's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glenn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Winter is pawing at Glenn, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Glenn's nose. Glenn is badly hurt! Winter pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Glenn tries desperately to hold on but Winter is relentless in his assault! As Glenn receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Winter away and this one is in the books!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Fuago shoots and misses and Summer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Del Fuago's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Del Fuago working for a triangle but Summer defends it easily.
Summer controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Del Fuago looking for a guillotine here but Summer defends easily.
Summer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Del Fuago swivels though and keeps the full guard. Summer wants to control from the top but Del Fuago keeps moving. Del Fuago escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Summer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Summer trying to control but Del Fuago is working from the bottom.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Del Fuago enables Summer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Del Fuago manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Summer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Del Fuago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Del Fuago trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Del Fuago looking for a triangle here. Summer is fighting it but it looks tight! Del Fuago pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Summer is tapping out - this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez tries to clinch but Doon moves out of range. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ramirez tries to get out of the position. Doon tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramirez is retaining full guard. Ramirez managing to control the position. Doon trying to control but Ramirez is working from the bottom.
