0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Liam Cosgrove! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do Urden fails in his attempt to clinch. Cosgrove fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Do Urden avoids it really well and circles away. Do Urden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cosgrove sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Do Urden somewhat. Do Urden misses with a straight left. Do Urden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Do Urden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Do Urden wants it to stay on the feet. Do Urden gets the takedown into side control. Do Urden in side control, just content to control the action for now. Do Urden tries to score with some ground and pound. Cosgrove controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do Urden tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Do Urden moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cosgrove tries to escape but Do Urden is in control. Do Urden misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cosgrove seems a little lost for a moment, as Do Urden dominates the positioning.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Drizzt Do Urden. Cosgrove shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Do Urden as he avoids it easily. Drizzt Do Urden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liam Cosgrove. Horrible takedown by Do Urden or perhaps it was just good defense by Cosgrove which made him look bad. Do Urden goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Do Urden moves in looking to clinch but Cosgrove pushes him off. Do Urden keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cosgrove gets tackled into the cage by Do Urden. Do Urden maintains the clinch. Cosgrove stops a takedown attempt from Do Urden.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cosgrove tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Do Urden smiles and moves away.
Do Urden slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cosgrove looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Do Urden is fending him off so far but Cosgrove persists. Nope, Do Urden circles away and we're back to standing. The fight stays on the outside here - Do Urden looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Do Urden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Do Urden shoots in looking for a takedown but Cosgrove manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Do Urden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Do Urden darts in trying to clinch and Cosgrove counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cosgrove. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Do Urden is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cosgrove's half guard. Do Urden is looking to pass Cosgrove's guard but actually Cosgrove recovers to full guard. Cosgrove can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Do Urden controls the pace.

Do Urden trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Do Urden throws an elbow that misses. Cosgrove uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Do Urden's guard. Nice move by Cosgrove! Cosgrove throws a strike but Do Urden rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Do Urden's corner is telling him to maintain position. Drizzt Do Urden overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We're going to have a standup here because Drizzt Do Urden wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Do Urden shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cosgrove's guard. Do Urden trying to control but Cosgrove is working from the bottom.

The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Do Urden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cosgrove swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cosgrove throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Do Urden works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Cosgrove looking to pass the guard. Cosgrove is breathing heavily. Do Urden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cosgrove doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Do Urden is tightening it up a little... Cosgrove has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cosgrove reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cosgrove taps out! Nice BJJ there by Do Urden!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riot doesn't manage to clinch there - Bee circles away.
Riot wants to clinch up but Bee keeps it at a distance. Riot dives in and grabs Bee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bee pushes down on Riot's head and hops out. Riot tries to clinch up but Bee circles away and keeps his distance. Bee fails to land with a series of punches.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Riot is defended easily by Bee. Riot blocks a head kick by Bee.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bee.
Bee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Riot. That did some damage! Bee throws a right and a left that both miss.

Riot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bee tries to avoid it but Riot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bee to the ground. Bee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Riot throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bee leaves Riot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bee scores with a one two! Riot had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck for Riot with that takedown attempt. Riot takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ricky Riot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bee explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Riot is looking to clinch but Bee is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Riot. This has been an exciting period of action! Bee keeps the fight on the outside.

Riot thows a leg kick but Bee checks it and Bee counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bee feints and then cracks Riot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Riot down. Eager bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Ardem cracks the inside of Overeem's front leg. Ardem throws a sloppy head kick and Overeem moves out of range easily.

Overeem gets control of Ardem's arms and successfully pulls guard. Overeem will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Overeem manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ardem pivots, looking for a leg kick but Overeem is out of range and Ardem settles back down. Ardem on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Overeem! Ardem is out on his feet! Overeem rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ardem is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ardem is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Claude Overeem! A determined Jean Claude Overeem didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

Mamikonyan moves out of range of the leg kick from Steele. Steele bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mamikonyan's head backwards.
It looks like Vartan Mamikonyan has been cut. A head kick misses from Mamikonyan. Mamikonyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mamikonyan throws a sloppy head kick and Steele moves out of range easily. Mamikonyan takes a jab right on the kisser.
Steele throws a right and a left that Mamikonyan avoids nicely. Mamikonyan wants to clinch. Mamikonyan tries to move into range but Steele moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mamikonyan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steele steps into range and cracks Mamikonyan with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mamikonyan flops backwards and Steele dives into his guard looking to finish!
Mamikonyan is rocked! Steele advances position into side control! Mamikonyan is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Steele is looking to advance position but Mamikonyan won't allow it. Mamikonyan regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are battling for position here. Mamikonyan manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mamikonyan keeping full guard, as Steele tries to pass. Mamikonyan looking to sweep here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mamikonyan pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Steele trying to control the position but Mamikonyan is working away. Steele controlling the position. Mamikonyan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Steele off and has taken his back!

Steele remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mamikonyan will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Mamikonyan looking for the choke but no joy. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Hulkster looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hulkster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Overeem swats him away and circles back towards the center. Overeem throws the kick towards the body but Hulkster avoids it. Hulkster wants to clinch up but Overeem keeps it at a distance. Hulkster avoids the head kick by Overeem.

Overeem uses the oldest trick in the book to send Hulkster tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Overeem is absolutely delighted - when Hulkster wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
