Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manolo Pierdolo! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pierdolo backs up against the cage.
It looks like Manolo Pierdolo has been cut. A big right from Hill misses. Pierdolo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hill is fending him off so far but Pierdolo persists. Nope, Hill circles away and we're back to standing. Hill thuds his right hand into Pierdolo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pierdolo. Pierdolo takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pierdolo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hill to keep the fight standing. Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hill tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pierdolo swivels and escapes. Pierdolo shoots for a double leg takedown but Hill sprawls well. He's pushed Pierdolo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dennis Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manolo Pierdolo. Pierdolo avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pierdolo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hill. Dennis Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Hill.
Hill scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Hill is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Hill fails to land with a series of punches.
Hill moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Pierdolo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hill. Hill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hill shoots in looking for a takedown but Pierdolo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pierdolo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hill tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pierdolo is in Hill's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pierdolo pushes down on Hill's leg and manages to get into half guard. Well, if Pierdolo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pierdolo lands with a punch from half guard. Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pierdolo on the ground. Hill tries to roll over but Pierdolo keeps him under control. Pierdolo controlling the action here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pierdolo connects with a nice short shot to Hill's temple. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hill here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Pierdolo wants to pass the guard but Hill is defending well. Hill might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pierdolo slips a nice elbow through Hill's hands, connecting with Hill's forehead. Pierdolo perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pierdolo wants to control but Hill is keeping him busy. Hill moves into full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pierdolo is working Hill over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pierdolo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hill keeping moving, preventing Pierdolo from controlling successfully. Pierdolo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pierdolo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Pierdolo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Pierdolo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pierdolo lands a couple of digs.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Pierdolo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pierdolo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hill is in trouble now - Pierdolo has advanced to mount! Pierdolo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Pierdolo unloading with bombs! This has been an exciting period of action! Pierdolo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pierdolo is landing with some decent strikes but Hill is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The referee warns Hill that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pierdolo cracks Hill with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Pierdolo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pierdolo content just to control the position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pierdolo working the ground and pound effectively.
And that's the end of the fight! Manolo Pierdolo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pierdolo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mirapthlak is trying to maintain the position but Alexandrov is very close to passing his half guard. Alexandrov wants to control but Mirapthlak is keeping him busy. Alexandrov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Mirapthlak trying to hold on to Alexandrov's head to control him but Alexandrov postures up.

Alexandrov has his hands clasped together but Mirapthlak extends an breaks Alexandrov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mirapthlak.
