Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Rambeau Balbeaua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Ryan! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Balbeaua lands a jab. Balbeaua swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ryan. Ryan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Balbeaua scores with a jab to the body. Ryan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Balbeaua is out of range. A punch combination from Ryan misses. Ryan just misses with a punch to the body.
Ryan drives through and clinches with Balbeaua against the cage.
Balbeaua tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ryan's elbow. Balbeaua misses with some punches.
Balbeaua working hard to break the clinch. Balbeaua pushes Ryan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Balbeaua breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ryan takes one on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryan moves into range and clinches up with Balbeaua. Balbeaua gets through Ryan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ryan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Balbeaua taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ryan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Balbeaua's brow. Ryan tries to work over Balbeaua's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ryan utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Ryan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Balbeaua, as that shot connected.
Balbeaua keeps the fight on the outside. Balbeaua dodges the punch combination from Ryan.
Good work by Balbeaua as he checks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan wants to clinch. A big right from Ryan misses. Nice body kick there by Balbeaua. Ryan throws a push kick but Balbeaua slaps the foot to one side. Balbeaua lands a high kick!
Ryan is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Balbeaua fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ryan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Ryan is still on wobbly legs! Can Balbeaua finish him? Ryan looks gassed! Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Balbeaua! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jones takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Mukassa Jones has been cut. Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Korpisuo's elbow. A short right from Jones on the inside. Jones is trying to break the clinch but Korpisuo has him pressed against the cage. Jones trying to control the position but instead, Korpisuo has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Korpisuo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Excellent takedown into side control there by Korpisuo. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Korpisuo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Korpisuo's guard! Nice work there by Jones! Korpisuo being controlled here, momentarily.

Jonesis looking to pass into half guard but Korpisuo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Korpisuo is in guard. Korpisuo throwing strikes but missing. Korpisuo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Korpisuo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Korpisuo tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Korpisuo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Korpisuo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Korpisuo stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Korpisuo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mukassa Jones wasn't doing enough on the ground. Korpisuo closes the distance and clinches. Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Korpisuo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Korpisuo throws a leg kick and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Jones connects with a leg kick. Korpisuo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Risto Korpisuo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Korpisuo or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad. Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Korpisuo seems unphased.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones cracks Korpisuo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jones tried to score with a low kick but Korpisuo checks it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones misses with a low kick. Korpisuo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones tries to break free but Korpisuo pushes him back against the cage. Korpisuo is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Mukassa Jones will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mukassa Jones's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Korpisuo swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Korpisuo walks into a straight right hand from Jones. Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Korpisuo. Korpisuo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Korpisuos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korpisuo blocks a leg kick. Korpisuo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Mukassa Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Risto Korpisuo. Risto Korpisuo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Korpisuo tries to clinch up. Korpisuo pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing. Korpisuo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jones misses with a short punch on the inside. Korpisuo works on Jones's body with a couple of short punches.

He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Jones is unloading with more strikes now! Korpisuo drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mukassa Jones! A relieved looking Mukassa Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Xocoyotzin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Xocoyotzin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nut was well out of range. Xocoyotzin misses the body punch and Nut counters with a lovely straight right hand! Xocoyotzin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nut sees it coming and avoids it easily. A solid body kick from Nut. Xocoyotzin has a takedown stuffed. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Xocoyotzin throws out a powerful jab.

Nut looks for the body kick but Xocoyotzin saw that one coming. Xocoyotzin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nut, right into the meat.
Nut lands a jab to the nose. Nut looks to throw the jab but Xocoyotzin is out of range. Xocoyotzin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nut thumps Xocoyotzin with a low kick. Xocoyotzin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Xocoyotzin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Nut finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Nut misses with a two punch combination.
Nut looks to land a left hand but Xocoyotzin moved out of range nicely. Nut gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Xocoyotzin counter with a right hand. Xocoyotzin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nut lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Xocoyotzin wants to slow Nut down by chopping away at his legs. Xocoyotzin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nut is able to avoid easily. Nut staying out of range there. Nut misses with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nut connects with a leg kick. Xocoyotzin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Nut throws the kick towards the body but Xocoyotzin avoids it. Xocoyotzin lands a jab to the head.
Xocoyotzin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nut fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Xocoyotzin checks it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A low kick from Nut is predictable there and Xocoyotzin counters with a low kick, right behind Nut 's knee. Nut with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Xocoyotzin to score with a decent uppercut. Nut throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Xocoyotzin scores with a sloppy right hand. Nut should have avoided that one. Xocoyotzin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Xocoyotzin throws a shot from downtown. Nut moves away and avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Nut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nut has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzi shoots in and drives through. Duddy sprawls well. Tyr Uzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duddy getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Uzi is looking to clinch but Duddy is avoiding it.
Duddy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duddy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Uzi. Uzi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Uzi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duddy defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyr Uzi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uzi scores with a hook to the body. Duddy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Uzi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Uzi wants to clinch and Duddy counters with a right hand to the body. Duddy lands a glancing blow to the side of Uzi's head. Uzi darts in trying to clinch and Duddy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Uzi's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duddy has his foot on Uzi's thigh. Uzi won't allow Duddy to sweep him here. Uzi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Biller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Htaike pulls his head out easily. Htaike tries to pass the half guard into mount. Biller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kopylov pushes Luuttu away with a front kick. A combination from Kopylov does no damage. Luuttu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kopylov. Luuttu looks for a takedown but Kopylov sprawls well. Kopylov circles away from the clinch attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex keeps the fight on the outside. Jokinen slips a jab and a cross from Rex.
Rex looks to score with a jab to the body but Jokinen is just out of range. Rex shoots in but Jokinen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rex throws a big shot that misses. Spandex Rex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jokinen moves in looking to clinch but Rex pushes him off. Jokinen throws a poor cross that misses

Rex connects with a crisp jab. A head kick by Rex misses and Jokinen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jokinen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Rex lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jokinen scores with a head kick.
Jokinen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The fighters circle momentarily. Rex darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Jokinen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jokinen throws a front kick aimed at Rex's knee but Rex avoids it well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rex misses with a head kick.
Rex feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jokinens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Rex counters with a stiff right hand. Jokinen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Rex keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rex goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Rex misses the shot to the body. Jokinen throws a big shot that misses. Jokinen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rex. A slow jab from Rex misses its intended target. Jokinen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Jokinen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rex doesn't seem bothered though.
