The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swain throws a lazy uppercut
and Bear counters with a straight right hand.

Swain cracks Bear with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Swain has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bear to stand back up!

It looks like Quala Bear has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Swain throws a hook but Bear blocks it.
Bear bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bear wants to clinch.
A big left from Swain misses.
Bear tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Swain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bear looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Bear counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bear.
Oh Bear is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bear misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Bear seems to have got his legs back now.
Swain blocks the elbow strike.
Bear lands a nice uppercut.
Bear misses with some punches.
Swain has had enough of the clinch but Bear keeps him there for the moment.
Bear makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Bear tries to land knees in the clinch but Swain avoids the damage to the body.

Bear gets through Swain's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Bear escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bear fails with an attempt to clinch.
Swain throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bear misses with a hook from the clinch.
Swain wants to break free but Bear has control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bear breaks the clinch.
Swain connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Swain is trying to break the clinch but Bear has him pressed against the cage.
Bear tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Swain's elbow.
Bear pushes Swain back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Bear breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swain throws a big shot that misses.
Swain misses with an uppercut
and Bear counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Swain looks gassed!
Swain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Swain throws a right hand that Bear ducks under and follows up with a left that Bear also avoids with ease.

Bear cracks Swain with an uppercut from hell and Swain crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bear's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Swain is rocked!
Bear stays in close to Swain's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bear decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bear is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bear gets a clinch.

Bear unloads a knee to the mid-section. Swain lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bear is working Swain over against the cage.
Bear struggles to land a body shot inside as Swain controls his hands.
Bear goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bear scores with a shoulder strike.
Bear lands a body punch.
Bear tries a knee to the head but Swain blocks it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Swain is still on wobbly legs! Can Bear finish him?

Bear breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swain seems to have recovered his senses.

Bear moves into the clinch.
Bear lands a body shot.
Swain on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bear pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Bear's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bear tries to clinch there but Swain circles away.

Bear gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bear looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bear tries to clinch but Swain moves out of range.
Bear lands an uppercut, right on the button! Swain tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
