2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roberto Colon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenny Worner! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worner tries to land a body kick and Colon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Worner! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Colon cracks Worner with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Colon is working for a guillotine from mount but Worner frees his head quite easily.
Worner is in all sorts of trouble here.
Colon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Worner turns into him and now he's in Colon's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Worner trying to control but Colon is working from the bottom. Colon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Worner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Colon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Worner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Colon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colon is trying to get back to half guard. Worner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Worner tries to stand but Colon is controlling his head. Colon is not content to let Worner control the position. Colon is looking to reverse the position. Worner is looking to take a break and control but Colon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Colon is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colon gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Colon looking for submissions off his back. Colon works his way to full guard. Good work. Colon has a closed guard, preventing Worner from standing up. Worner wants to control from the top but Colon keeps moving. Colon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Worner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Worner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Colon has an active guard here but Worner has managed to pass into half guard.

Worner might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Colon kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Colon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Worner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Worner's back! Colon avoiding Worner 's attempts to control his hands. Colon lands shots from the back. Worner defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Colon has his foot on Worner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Worner works his way back into a safe position though.

Colon is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Colon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Worner defends it easily. Worner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Worner trying to control the position from guard on top but Colon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Worner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Colon's guard. Worner shoots in for a double leg but Colon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. No joy there for Worner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Worner wants to clinch up but Colon keeps it at a distance. Kenny Worner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Worner tries to clinch but fails miserably and Colon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Colon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Colon is in close to Worner's body, working some short punches and elbows. Colon postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warrior is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hill sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Warrior closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hill to the mat! Hill manages to get full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Warrior trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Warrior knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hill on the ground. Hill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Warrior in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hill pulls Warrior in to control the position. Warrior controls from within his opponent's guard.

Ultimate Warrior is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Warrior closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hill did well to prevent Warrior getting side control. Hill trying to hold on to Warrior's head to control him but Warrior postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Megaphny scores with a punch to the head. Nice uppercut there from Megaphny. Megaphny throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A cross from Renninger lands. Megaphny ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Megaphny sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Renninger explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Megaphny takes a swing at Renninger's ribcage but misses. Renninger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Megaphny has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Megaphny throws an overhand right that lands on Renninger's shoulder, as Renninger tries to avoid the shot. Renninger rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Megaphny counters with a stiff right hand. Renninger looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Megaphny sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Dirk Megaphny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Megaphny has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Renninger. Megaphny looks gassed! Megaphny circles away from the clinch attempt.

Renninger throws a nice inside leg kick. Richard Renninger is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Renninger misses with a body kick. Megaphny walks forward, straight into a front kick from Renninger. Renninger tries to land a front kick but Megaphny steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Megaphny misses with an uppercut

Renninger throws a nice outside leg kick. A solid body kick from Renninger. Renninger throws a nice outside leg kick. Renninger throws the kick towards the body but Megaphny avoids it. A solid leg kick lands there for Renninger.
Renninger throws a push kick but Megaphny slaps the foot to one side. A decent looking body kick lands there for Renninger. Renninger throws a hook to the side of Megaphny's head but Megaphny sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Renninger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Renninger connects with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renninger cracks a nice hook into Megaphny's ribs. Megaphny on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Renninger lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Renninger misses with a body kick. Megaphny moves out of range of the body kick from Renninger.
Megaphny chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Renninger can pounce on him.

Megaphny takes a step back to recover. Renninger throws a half hearted mid kick. Megaphny steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Renninger. That one must have hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Renninger. Renninger looks to land a body kick but Megaphny moved away. Renninger is looking to slow Megaphny down with leg kicks. Megaphny's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. The fight moves into the clinch position. Renninger utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Renninger working Megaphny over with knees to the body. Megaphny tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Renninger stalling in the clinch.
Renninger is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Knees in the clinch landing for Renninger.

Megaphny is rocked! A head kick by Renninger - that's a beauty! Megaphny is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Renninger can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zietsch drops his hands momentarily and Dutch takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Dutch darts in trying to clinch and Zietsch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dark Dutch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zietsch takes one on the button. Dutch slips under a jab from Zietsch. Dutch doesn't manage to clinch there - Zietsch circles away.

Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Slater wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ribera keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slater thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ribera's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ribera is looking to control Slater's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ribera avoid being mounted? Slater has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slater is trying to control the action in half guard but Ribera is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Harry Slater hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ribera throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's better than Slater was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Slater controlling from the full mount.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shaunessey momentarily.
Shaunessey pivots, looking for a leg kick but Torres is out of range and Shaunessey settles back down. Shaunessey defending well as Torres loads up on a big left hand. Shaunessey tries to score with a low kick but Torres moves his leg out of the way. Torres lands a high kick to the side of Shaunessey's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas!
