I think Hainer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Diabolic "Frontlines". Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Matt Trampling enters the cage!

11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Trampling! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hainer jabs at Trampling's body. Hainer throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Hainer connects with a high kick. A slow jab from Hainer misses its intended target. A head kick misses from Trampling. Hainer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hainer misses with a body shot.
Hainer dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hainer blocks a head kick by Trampling.
Trampling walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hainer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hainer looks to score with a jab to the body but Trampling is just out of range. Hainer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trampling connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hainer scrambles back to his feet. Trampling tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hainer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hainer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Trampling does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hainer ducks under a wild hook from Trampling. Good work by Trampling as he checks the leg kick. Hainer getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sloppy strikes from Trampling. Those never looked like landing. Hainer looks to score with a jab to the body but Trampling is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trampling throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hainer. Trampling shoots for a double leg takedown but Hainer sprawls well. He's pushed Trampling's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Trampling throws a leg kick but Hainer sees it coming and checks it nicely. Hainer lands with a thumping leg kick.

Trampling steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hainer. That one must have hurt. Hainer tries to move into range but Trampling moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Hainer thuds a left hand into Trampling's body. Trampling slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A thudding body kick lands there by Hainer!
Trampling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hainer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hainer scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hainer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Trampling has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Trampling misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Trampling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hainer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hainer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Trampling tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hainer working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hainer with a couple of short strikes. Hainer controlling from mount. Trampling really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Trampling is rocked! Hainer punishing his opponent with strikes. Trampling is still in real trouble! Can Hainer finish him? Hainer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Trampling scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hainer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hainer stands and salutes the crowd.

Birmiski maintains the clinch. Birmiski lands a hook to the side of the head. Birmiski gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Love regains guard.
Birmiski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Birmiski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Love has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson moves out of range as Jones throws a body kick.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy. Patterson closes the distance but Jones moves to the side and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Pete Patterson has been cut. Pete Patterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping leg kick lands for Jones.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones misses the shot to the body. Jones leaves Patterson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Patterson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jones connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Patterson scrambles back to his feet. Patterson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Patterson closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Patterson pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Joseph Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pete Patterson. Patterson looks gassed! Patterson moves to clinch but Jones breaks away letting Jones counter with a right hand. Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patterson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Jones tries to bench press Patterson off him but Patterson keeps the position. Check out the look on Patterson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Jones sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Patterson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Patterson throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Patterson wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Patterson. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Patterson shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Patterson tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pete Patterson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones lands a jab to the nose.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lazy left from Jones finds it's target. Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jones here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Jones throws a hook to the side of Patterson's head but Patterson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Patterson fails in his attempt to clinch. Patterson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Patterson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Patterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patterson off to one side. Patterson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Patterson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jones digs a good hook to Patterson's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Patterson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones lunges at Patterson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Patterson's hand. Jones lands a jab to Patterson's midsection. Patterson is breathing heavily. A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Patterson does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones cracks Patterson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Patterson to stand back up!
Patterson is rocked! Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Patterson is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Jones fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Patterson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Patterson looks to clinch but Jones throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Patterson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh throws a head kick that misses. The fight moves into the clinch position. Singh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Murdock clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Singh lands shots from the back. The referee is taking a good look at Murdock as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Singh!

Murdock misses with a body kick. Murdock avoids the head kick by Singh.

Duggan eventually gives up the hold. Curtis Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duggan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duggan's back! Jones looking for the RNC. Jones wants to control the position but Duggan frees himself and scrambles - Jones manages to regain control in side control.

Jones throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Curtis Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jones tries to advance to mount but can't. Duggan is trying to improve his position. Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Duggan throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Duggan misses its intended target. Duggan gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Duggan manages to retain guard. Duggan is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Duggan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Jones wants to control from the top but Duggan keeps moving. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satan moves away from the strike by Funkyama. Funkyama takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Funkyama connects with a body shot that sends Satan's belly button to the back. Satan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Funkyama misses with a left hand and Satan counters with a body kick that stops Funkyama in his tracks momentarily. Funkyama circles away from the clinch attempt.
Funkyama uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Satan. Funkyama throws a jab when Satan was well out of range. Satan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Funkyama has time to react. Satan lands with a nice body punch. Satan shoots in looking for a takedown but Funkyama manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Satan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Abdual Jemall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamid Zaferani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdual Jemall had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Jemall is not content to let Zaferani control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zaferani working away. It looks like Abdual Jemall has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jemall throws a series of punches but Zaferani moves out of range. Oh Jemall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jemall takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Zaferani! Jemall is out on his feet! Zaferani rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Jemall is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Jemall is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
