 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Temple 's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ferguson wants to stand but Temple has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Ferguson trying to control but Temple is working from the bottom. Temple looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ferguson controls from within his opponent's guard. Temple has his hands on Ferguson's head, controlling the position.

and Faber counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Faber performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Faber trying to mount his opponent but Williams defends it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Parker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Parker is pushing down on Fraizer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fraizer is fighting to maintain full guard but Parker has managed to sneak the leg through. Parker thows a huge punch but Fraizer dodges it nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Fraizer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Parker slips a nice elbow through Fraizer's hands, connecting with Fraizer's forehead.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
