1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Denton! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Denton jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bruneau could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bruneau gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Denton's face as Bruneau controls the position. Bruneau working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Bruneau prevents Denton from escaping the position. Denton is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bruneau connects with a decent elbow. Bruneau misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bruneau is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Bruneau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bruneau misses with the ground and pound.

Bruneau creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Denton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bruneau takes a little break here. Denton wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Denton tries to escape but Bruneau is in control. Bruneau wants to lay and pray for a moment but Denton keeps working.

Bruneau uses his free foot to push down on Denton's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Denton. Bruneau controlling the position easily from mount. Bruneau connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bruneau looking to control but Denton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bruneau lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Maurice Bruneau overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bruneau wants to control the pace but Denton is squirming around nicely. BOOM! Bruneau connects with a massive shot to the dome!

He lands one big shot that has Denton covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fink gets a double leg takedown into Sailo's guard. Sailo wants to sweep but no luck. Sailo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawkilla drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hughes is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lawkilla thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Lawkilla swings around for an armbar but Hughes sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lawkilla's guard. Hughes won't allow Lawkilla to sweep him here. Hughes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lawkilla is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hughes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lawkilla keeping moving, preventing Hughes from controlling successfully. Lawkilla utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weston closes the distance and clinches. Edwards has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Weston uses from the top position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Edwards controls Weston momentarily but Weston frees himself. Edwards isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Weston stacks Edwards on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Weston! Edwards manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Edwards seems to be working for a kimura but Weston defends the submission attempt. Weston slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Weston pulls Edwards in close to prevent any damage. Weston utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edwards being controlled here momentarily. Weston is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Edwards wants to sweep but Weston has passed to side control! Weston advances to mount. Weston cracks Edwards with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Edwards is breathing heavily. Weston pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Edwards is rocked! Oooooh, big shot lands for Weston! Edwards is hurt baaadly! Weston is firing away with more strikes - Edwards is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
