1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ophas Iamsaard! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iamsaard looks to land a combination but Thuan Dang avoids it well. Iamsaard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Iamsaard throws a head kick that misses and Thuan Dang counters with a three punch combo that has Iamsaard backing up. Iamsaard nods at Thuan Dang to acknowledge the strikes. Thuan Dang misses the shot to the body. Iamsaard misses with an uppercut. Thuan Dang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thuan Dang throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Thuan Dang's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Thuan Dang duly obliges. Iamsaard lands with a slapping head kick. Thuan Dang thows a body shot but no joy. A shot to the liver by Thuan Dang. Beautiful body shot. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Iamsaard. Iamsaard throws a big shot that misses. Thuan Dang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Iamsaard wants to clinch up but Thuan Dang keeps it at a distance. Iamsaard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Thuan Dang avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iamsaard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thuan Dang. Thuan Dang fails to land with a series of punches.
Iamsaard throws a combination that misses and Thuan Dang counters with a right hand to the body. Thuan Dang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Iamsaard in his tracks. Thuan Dang scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Thuan Dang. Iamsaard does a little dance to reset his feet. Iamsaard misses with a double jab
and Thuan Dang counters with a series of strikes. Iamsaard will be more careful next time no doubt.
Iamsaard is rocked! Thuan Dang batters Iamsaard with a massive right followed by a huge left! Iamsaard is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Thuan Dang lands a final crushing right hand to drop Iamsaard to the mat with a gruesome thud! Thuan Dang is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Van Thuan Dang! After winning the bout, Van Thuan Dang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Mendoza. Mendoza jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
De Ertu looks for a takedown but Mendoza sprawls well. Mendoza lands the left hand. Mendoza stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Luis Mendoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendoza lunges at De Ertu with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by De Ertu's hand. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De Ertu checks a leg kick. Oooooh!!! Mendoza has knocked De Ertu down with a huge combo! Mendoza steps away and waves a wobbly De Ertu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Nicolas De Ertu has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. De Ertu throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Oh De Ertu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice uppercut there from Mendoza. De Ertu misses with a takedown attempt - Mendoza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. De Ertu walks into a stiff left hand from Mendoza. Mendoza walks forward and throws a big overhand right! De Ertu drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Mendoza swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from De Ertu's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Muszyna. No joy for De Aardwortel on that attempt. De Aardwortel staying out of range there. Muszyna throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Muszyna digs a good hook to De Aardwortel's body.
Muszyna pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces De Aardwortel back to the cage. Muszyna follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. De Aardwortel takes one to the chin there. De Aardwortel shoots in but no luck this time. Muszyna lands a body shot.
Muszyna ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Muszyna bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. De Aardwortel looking for a takedown here - he's got it. This has been an exciting period of action! Muszyna working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from De Aardwortel. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Aardwortel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. De Aardwortel trying to control the position from guard on top but Muszyna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Muszyna is trying to keep De Aardwortel in close.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sap De Aardwortel wasn't doing enough on the ground. Muszyna throws a jab when De Aardwortel was well out of range.

Muszyna is trying to defend but De Aardwortel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This has been an exciting period of action! De Aardwortel controlling the action here.

De Aardwortel looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Aardwortel postures up in Muszyna's guard and throws a big left but Muszyna blocks it.

De Aardwortel is keen to just control but Muszyna is a slippery customer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Muszyna is looking for a sweep. De Aardwortel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. De Aardwortel throwing shots but Muszyna is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sap De Aardwortel will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

De Aardwortel is rocked! Muszyna throws an overhand right that drops De Aardwortel like a sack of potatoes! Muszyna dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A good leg kick by Gumbi. Gumbi cracks Malaki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gumbi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Malaki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Malaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Malaki jabs Gumbi to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gumbi looks to land a right hand but Malaki moved out of range. Malaki catches Gumbi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Malaki seems to have got his legs back now. Gumbi tries to bum rush Malaki with a series of wild strikes but Malaki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Malaki misses. Gumbi misses with a wild combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gumbi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Malaki is out of range. Malaki throws a hook to the side of Gumbi's head but Gumbi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Malaki throws a right and a left that Gumbi avoids nicely. Malaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Gumbi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Malaki. Sloppy strikes from Gumbi. Those never looked like landing. Gumbi blocks a jab. Malaki slips under a jab from Gumbi. Gumbi throws a nice inside leg kick. Gumbi connects with a solid leg kick. Gumbi throws a right and a left that Malaki avoids nicely. Malaki moves into range and connects with a jab. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Gumbi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Malaki. Malaki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gumbi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Malaki on the side of the head. Gumbi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Malaki. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pietkriek Gumbi dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Gumbi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Malaki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Gumbi misses with a body shot.
Gumbi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Malaki under the eye. Gumbi throws a lazy right hand but Malaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gumbi jabbing away but nothing is landing. Malaki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gumbi's guard. We're going to have a standup here because Yancy Malaki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Malaki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gumbi cracks Malaki with a right hand to the side of the head. Gumbi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good work by Gumbi as he checks the leg kick. Malaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gumbi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gumbi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Malaki scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Malaki taking a breather here. Malaki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gumbi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Malaki eats them both and turns towards Gumbi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gumbi, right into the meat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt throws a quick inside leg kick. Jonsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hunt.
