The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ortiz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bertane Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bertane Jr is trying to get an arm triangle but Ortiz is defending well. Bertane Jr has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ortiz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bertane Jr yanks on the arm and Ortiz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bertane Jr.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin rushes Lannister and presses him up against the cage. Lannister tries to break free but Rasputin pushes him back against the cage. Lannister prevents the takedown attempt.
Lannister scores with a hook to the body. Lannister stops a takedown attempt from Rasputin.
Rasputin has Lannister pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lannister manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikhail Rasputin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rasputin is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rasputin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lannister defends it well. Rasputin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Greyjoy trying to mount his opponent but Ferreira defends it. Greyjoy lands with a punch from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Greyjoy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Greyjoy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferreira does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Greyjoy around the waist but Greyjoy pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Greyjoy is the winner by TKO! Greyjoy jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Krupnik is working for takedown but Murch is calmly controlling the position for now. Krupnik tries to break the clinch but Murch is controlling the position. Murch using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krupnik has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Krupnik shoots in looking for a takedown but Murch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Krupnik's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Murch tries to clinch but Krupnik moves out of range. Murch tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krupnik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Murch as he jumps to the side. Fernando Murch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marian Krupnik. Krupnik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Krupnik looks gassed!

Krupnik postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Murch is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Krupnik, into his guard. Murch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krupnik on the ground. Murch is looking to stand up but Krupnik won't let him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kula fails with a takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tarzan. Lithe Tarzan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tarzan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tataglia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tarzan tries to avoid it but Tataglia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tarzan to the ground. Tarzan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tataglia stuffs the takedown attempt from Tarzan. Tarzan gets slowly back to his feet. Tommy Tataglia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lithe Tarzan. Tataglia moves in looking to clinch but Tarzan pushes him off. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tataglia. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Van De Kamp is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hellio is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Van De Kamp is aware though and is defending well. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Van De Kamp drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hellio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Van De Kamp has Hellio in his guard.
