The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salamador throws a hook to the side of Pico's head but Pico sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pico bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pico shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Salamador cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pico gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Salamador counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Salamador fails to pull guard.
Salamador pulls guard. Salamador is trying to keep Pico in close.
Pico wants to pass the guard but Salamador is keeping the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Jack Salamador wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Salamador thows a body shot but no joy. Pico gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Salamador counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jack Salamador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Pico has picked Salamador up - he's going for a ride! Pico dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Salamador looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Pico shoots in looking for a takedown but Salamador manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pico's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salamador fails with an attempt to clinch.

Marti Pico is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pico tries for a takedown but Salamador circles away easily and Salamador counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Salamador throws out a loose jab but Pico uses good head movement to avoid it. Salamador shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pico manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Salamador postures up in Pico's guard and throws a big left but Pico blocks it.

Salamador passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salamador working Pico over with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salamador performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Salamador passes the guard and advances to mount! Pico is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salamador is in the full mount, landing strikes. Salamador controlling the position easily from mount. Pico is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salamador landing punches. Salamador breaks from Pico's wrist control and lands an elbow. Salamador looking to finish Pico with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pico! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pico is looking to get to half guard. Marti Pico has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Salamador is in the full mount, landing strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hades tests Gibbons's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hades cracks Gibbons with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Hades moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Sam Hades has been cut. Hades takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hades misses with a looping right. Hades is looking to clinch but Gibbons is avoiding it.
Hades misses the shot to the body. Gibbons cracks Hades on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hades falls backwards against the cage. Gibbons follows up with more strikes that drop Hades to his knees. Gibbons keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hades! This one is all over!

Sau Yee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sau Yee tries to move into range but Sir moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sau Yee moves out of range of the strikes. Sau Yee tries to work over Sir's front leg with a kick but Sir checks it. Sau Yee dodges the punch combination from Sir.
Sau Yee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sir scores with the left hand. Sau Yee knows he should have avoided that one. Sau Yee throws out a powerful jab. Sir defending well as Sau Yee loads up on a big left hand. A leg kick checked by Sir. A left lands for Sau Yee. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sir looks gassed! Sau Yee pushes Sir back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice right hand lands inside from Sau Yee.
Sir is rocked! Sau Yee lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sir. Sir is still on wobbly legs! Can Sau Yee finish him? Sir blocks the elbow strike.
Sir seems to have recovered his senses. Sau Yee lands with a right to the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sau Yee creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Sau Yee lands a right hand. Sau Yee drops Sir with a massive uppercut from the clinch! Oh my word, Sir is out cold! What a knockout!

Sau Sei stuns Rizzo Jr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sau Sei throws a hook but Rizzo Jr avoids it easily. Rizzo Jr cracks the inside of Sau Sei's front leg. Rizzo Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rizzo Jr scoring well with a low kick there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rizzo Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sau Sei's sensitive parts. Rizzo Jr lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kirby throws a front kick that sends Padilla stumbling back into the cage. Kirby connects with a solid leg kick. Kirby buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Good leg kick by Kirby there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Padilla scores with a takedown into Kirby's guard. Padilla throws an elbow that misses. Kirby uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Padilla's guard. Nice move by Kirby! Kirby controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Padilla working for submissions but it's allowed Kirby to get to half guard.
