The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wabbit throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Raheem tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wabbit is in Raheem's guard.
Wabbit stands up over Raheem, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wabbit must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wabbit working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Raheem's head.
Raheem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wabbit manages to get himself to full guard.

Raheem drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Raheem jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Raheem gets to his feet. Wabbit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Wabbit counters with a nice double leg into side control. Raheem won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Raheem manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wabbit's best efforts.

Wabbit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raheem with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

so Lombard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
