The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paraiba shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yoponku's guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Dam moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Raul Gonzalez has been cut. Van Dam feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gonzalezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt and Van Dam counters with a series of strikes. Gonzalez will be more careful next time no doubt. This has been an exciting period of action! Gonzalez has his takedown stuffed and Van Dam connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Van Dam stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Van Dam wants it to stay on the feet. Brian Van Dam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Gonzalez. Oooooh!!! Van Dam has knocked Gonzalez down with a huge combo! Van Dam steps away and waves a wobbly Gonzalez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Gonzalez has his takedown stuffed and Van Dam counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Gonzalez falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomb pushes Sharwin up against the cage in a clinch. Bomb tries to land a knee to the head but Sharwin blocks with his arms.
Sharwin has Bomb pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bomb manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bomb lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Bain Sharwin has been cut. Bomb misses with a short punch on the inside. Bomb lands a damaging elbow. Bomb throws a punch but it's blocked by Sharwin. Sharwin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bomb pulls his leg out and moves away.

Sharwin darts in and clinches Bomb up against the cage. Sharwin can't break the clinch.
Sharwin tries to pull guard but Bomb forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Adam Bomb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bain Sharwin. Sharwin goes for a takedown attempt but Bomb pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bomb has managed to clinch.
Nice elbow from Bomb. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sharwin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bomb pulls him back up using the underhooks. Bomb throws a head punch that misses. Sharwin takes an elbow to the forehead.
The cut above Bain Sharwin's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Sharwin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bomb gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Bain Sharwin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bain Sharwin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Andaya closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Van Maul did well to prevent Andaya getting side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Andaya takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Andaya wants to pass to mount but Van Maul is defending the position. Andaya is looking to stall here but Van Maul recovers full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Andaya passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lopez throws a body punch but Maurizio moves out of range. Maurizio shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lopez as he jumps to the side. Lopez moves into range and connects with a jab. Maurizio chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lopez can pounce on him.

Bennett wants to clinch but Bruno slips to the side and Bruno counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Bruno connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Charles Bennett has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bruno chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Bennett is rocked! Bruno is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bruno throws a shot to the body.
Bennett stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bruno. Bruno changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Bruno stuns Bennett with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bruno scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bennett doesn't seem bothered though. Bruno lands a nice hook to Bennett's body. Bennett takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bruno scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Charles Bennett's cut is getting worse. Bruno cracks Bennett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Oh Bennett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bruno feints a jab and as Bennett dips his head, Bruno unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Bennett right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Bennett falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Bruno smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

That's better than Faure was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cash regains half guard. Cash is looking to control Faure's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cash avoid being mounted? Faure thows a huge punch but Cash dodges it nicely.
Nice strikes from Faure there. Cash tries to get to full guard but Faure has control of the leg. Faure is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cash has managed to free his arm - good work. Cash tries to roll over but Faure keeps him under control. Cash looking for submissions off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Faure wants to work for an arm triangle but Cash is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Faure is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cash doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Faure. Faure throwing shots but Cash is blocking nicely.

Faure throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Faure is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Faure not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cash regains full guard. Nicely done. Cash working for a triangle but Faure defends it easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cash has his foot on Faure's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Faure works his way back into a safe position though. Cash controls Faure momentarily but Faure frees himself. Faure got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cash has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Faure has managed to get both his arms back between Cash's legs - danger averted. Faure postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Faure stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cash swivels though and keeps the full guard. Faure slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faure postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Faure is working Cash over with some ground and pound from side control. Cash tries to improve position but can't. Faure cracks Cash with a big elbow. Sloppy strikes there by Faure. Faure has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cash avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Faure. Faure in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Faure wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cash, who protects the arm well. Cash tries to bench press Faure off him but Faure keeps the position. Faure lands a nice forearm strike. Faure creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cash sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Cash struggling a bit here. Faure landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. You can see the frustration on Cash's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Cash is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faure is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cash has escaped the position, nice work there. Cash takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cash manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Cash tries to roll over but Faure keeps him under control. Faure scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Cash is in trouble now - Faure has advanced to mount! Faure lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cash hang on? Faure looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Cash is breathing heavily. Faure cracks Cash with a solid left hand. Faure postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Faure's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Cash controls Faure momentarily but Faure frees himself. Faure postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Faure tries to free his leg and advance position but Cash is retaining full guard. Faure working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Faure keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cash's head.
Cash is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Faure is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Oh Cash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Faure lands a couple of decent looking shots. Faure loads up on a big left hand. Cash felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Faure looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cash can't hide his disappointment, as Faure celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Travis Faure! After winning the bout, Travis Faure thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cabbat takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Marion swings for the body but Cabbat moves out of range.
Marion avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Marion fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cabbat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Cabbat swinging wildly here.
Marion has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Cabbat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cabbat lands a nice hook to Marion's body. Marion takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Cabbat chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Marion takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Marion lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Marion takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cabbat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cabbat wants it to stay on the feet. Cabbat shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marion manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Marion is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marion has escaped and now he's on top! Cabbat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marion is one step ahead there. Marion with a flurry of punches that miss.

Jayden Marion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marion working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cabbat is pulling down on Marion's head. It's preventing any offense from Marion, at least for the moment. Cabbat has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Eric Cabbat just wasn't active enough. Marion tests Cabbat's chin there with a solid looking shot. Marion misses the shot to the body. No luck for Cabbat with that takedown attempt. Cabbat fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Cabbat counters into the clinch. Nicely done. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cabbat creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Marion wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cabbat has him pressed against the cage. Marion tries for a takedown. No joy.

Marion has had enough of the clinch but Cabbat keeps him there for the moment. A short right hand to the side of the head by Cabbat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marion manages to break the clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Marion. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cabbat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Marion tries to land a leg kick but Cabbat saw it coming and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Cabbat. Well Cabbat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickens closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Taylor controlling the position well. Taylor tries to get to full guard but Dickens has control of the leg. Dickens performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Taylor trying to hold on to Dickens's head to control him but Dickens postures up.

Dickens postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Taylor badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dickens around the waist but Dickens pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dickens is the winner by TKO! Dickens jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buff Dickens! Buff Dickens retains his middleweight title! Buff Dickens tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
