The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Godick looking to score a takedown here. Anjos is defending well but Godick drives through and ends up in Anjos's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Anjos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Godick throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Anjos's body to avoid the submission. Anjos has instead reached around Godick's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Anjos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plast misses with a takedown attempt and Kringle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Plast looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Plast looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Plast manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kringle is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Plast is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plast looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kringle passes into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kringle drops an elbow to the side of Plast's head.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kringle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kringle slips nicely into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Plast has a hand on Kringle's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kringle takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Kringle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kris Kringle. Plast misses with a takedown and Kringle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Plast's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Plast is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kringle with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kringle gets to his feet. Plast looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Plast misses with a takedown and Kringle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Plast's guard. Kringle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Plast is proving hard to escape from. Kris Kringle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Plast avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kringle wants to control from the top but Plast keeps moving. Plast working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kringle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kringle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kringle stands and steps away. Plast gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kringle moves in looking to clinch but Plast pushes him off. Kringle closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kringle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Plast manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Plast with a poor takedown and Kringle counters with a lovely shot to the body. Plast fails with the takedown and Kringle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Plast! Kris Kringle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lander Plast. Kringle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kringle looking to control but Plast is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Plast is trying to escape the mount.

Kringle jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Hanks 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Antonio Hanks has been cut. Both fighters circling a little - Christmas finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Hanks shoots for a takedown but Christmas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hanks needs to keep his hands up - Christmas had a free shot at his head there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanks takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Antonio Hanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Christmas throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Hanks looks gassed! A head kick by Christmas - that's a beauty! Hanks is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Christmas can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Larry Hernandez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jon Drexler was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

and Drexler counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hernandez thinking. Hernandez throws a body punch but Drexler moves out of range. Hernandez misses with a hook. Sloppy strikes from Hernandez. Those never looked like landing. A big right from Hernandez misses. Hernandez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Drexler. Drexler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hernandez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hernandez throws a lazy uppercut
and Drexler moves into the clinch. Drexler landing knees to the body.
Drexler has Hernandez pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drexler continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Drexler turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Drexler manages to end up in side control. A lull in the action here as Drexler stalls from top position. Drexler misses with the ground and pound. Drexler landing a few strikes. Drexler creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hernandez sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. You can see the frustration on Hernandez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Larry Hernandez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Drexler. Drexler is putting a hurting on Hernandez here, landing some big shots from side control. Hernandez can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee asks Drexler politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Drexler prefers to stall for the moment though. Drexler scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Hernandez to see if he's OK. Sloppy strikes there by Drexler. Drexler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hernandez's shoulder. That is not cool. Drexler in side control lands a decent elbow. Drexler gets to mount! Hernandez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drexler lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Drexler putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Drexler moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hernandez has worked his arm free - good work by Hernandez!
Drexler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Drexler wants to control but Hernandez is keeping him busy. Drexler is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hernandez's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drexler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hernandez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Drexler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hernandez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Drexler is staying tight to Hernandez's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hernandez striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Drexler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Drexler winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Probert moves in looking to clinch but Mountain pushes him off. Probert misses with a looping left. Mountain keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mountain takes the fight into the clinch. Probert tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Probert tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mountain's elbow. Mountain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mountain moves into range and clinches up with Probert. Probert stalling in the clinch.
Mountain keeps control of Probert as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Probert is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mountain is keeping busy. Mountain lands a left hand that snaps the head of Probert backwards.

A shot to the body from Probert misses and Mountain counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mountain. Probert is trying to break the clinch but Mountain is controlling him. Mountain stalling against the cage.

Sparky Probert is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Probert connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mountain momentarily.

Probert tries to clinch up but Mountain circles away and keeps his distance. Probert lands with an overhand left. Probert lands a nice looking body shot.

Mountain lands a body punch in the clinch. Sparky Probert is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mountain throws an elbow that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lemieux leaves Saint Randy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lemieux is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Saint Randy's half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lemieux stalling. Lemieux is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Saint Randy has managed to free his arm - good work. Lemieux wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saint Randy keeps working. Lemieux with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lemieux is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hare is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Banks to keep the fight standing. Banks pulls guard effortlessly. Banks pulls Hare in to control the position. Hare passes into half guard. Banks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Banks tries to get out of the position. Hare trying to pass the guard but Banks defending well. Hare controlling the action here. Banks is looking for a sweep. Hare is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jensen wants to clinch up but Rickson keeps it at a distance. Jensen tries to bum rush Rickson with a series of wild strikes but Rickson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rickson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Carl Rickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jensen misses the shot to the body. Rickson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jensen was well out of range. Poor timing from Rickson. Rickson throws a sloppy head kick and Jensen moves out of range easily. Jensen fails in his attempt to clinch. Jensen is looking to land body kicks. Jensen blocks a jab. Jensen slips a jab from Rickson. The fight stays on the outside here - Jensen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rickson throws a leg kick that is checked letting Jensen counter with a right hand. Jensen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jensen moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rickson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Jensen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rickson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jensen. Nice uppercut lands for Jensen. That snapped Rickson's head back.
Jensen lands a big right hand that sends Rickson crashing to the mat! Jensen stays standing though and waves Rickson back to his feet!

It looks like Carl Rickson has been cut. Jensen doesn't manage to clinch there - Rickson circles away.
Rickson throws a low kick but Jensen avoids it. Rickson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Jensen throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Rickson is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jarvinen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Jarvinen misses with a body shot.
Yrjo Jarvinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith cracks a nice hook into Jarvinen's ribs. Jarvinen throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jarvinen swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jarvinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it. Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jarvinen moves away. Jarvinen misses with an attempted mid kick.

Jarvinen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Smith. Jarvinen chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A punch lands to the side of Jarvinen 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jarvinen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Jarvinen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Jarvinen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet. A slow jab from Jarvinen misses its intended target. Jarvinen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.

Smith throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jarvinen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
