Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Sorrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Folsom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorrow's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Harvester of Sorrow. Folsom has chosen Hightower Is Mad as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Sorrow misses the target.
Sorrow throws a shot to the body.
Sorrow looks to throw the jab but Folsom is out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Sorrow. Those never looked like landing.
Folsom connects with a body shot that sends Sorrow's belly button to the back.
Sorrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Folsom.
Folsom takes one to the side of the head.
Folsom throws a lazy right hand but Sorrow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Folsom misses with a few strikes there.
Folsom looks to land a combination but Sorrow avoids it well.
No joy there for Sorrow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Folsom connects with a body shot that sends Sorrow's belly button to the back.

Folsom shoots in for a takedown but Sorrow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sorrow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Folsom has time to react.
Sorrow lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sorrow.

Sorrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Folsom fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sorrow manages to avoid it.
Folsom takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sorrow walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Folsom throws a shot to the body.
Folsom is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Folsom counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sorrow!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Folsom swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Oni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ferguson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oni somewhat.

Oni shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferguson as he jumps to the side.
Jonothan Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Oni.

Ferguson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Oni fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ferguson to the ground. Oni is now in Ferguson's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oni accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Oni cracks Ferguson with a solid left hand.

Oni has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oni is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Oni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Oni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Oni looks up at the clock and then as Ferguson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oni smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oni wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ferguson, who protects the arm well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oni is trying to get an arm triangle but Ferguson is defending well.

Oni has an Americana. Ferguson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Oni is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Oni hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Tits drags the fight down to the ground.

Tits is looking for a triangle here but Sweatpants uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Tits regains half guard.
Tits trying to control but Sweatpants postures up.
Tits manages to get to full guard.
Sweatpants tries to stand but Tits is controlling from the bottom.

Tits isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sweatpants stacks Tits on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sweatpants!
Tits struggling a bit here.

Sweatpants decides to stand back up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tits.
Sweatpants throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tits throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sweatpants counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tits fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sweatpants, pushing him back against the cage.

Tits breaks the clinch.
Tits connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sweatpants momentarily.
Tits works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tits lands with a big left! Sweatpants is wobbled badly! Tits comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Sweatpants to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Tony Tits was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Long shoots in for a takedown but Ami shows good takedown defense.
Ami lands a jab.
Long misses with a takedown attempt - Ami sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ami throws a hook to the side of Long's head but Long sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Long gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ami gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Long is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
