4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Thomas! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas scores with a head kick. Aldo Jr tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Aldo Jr shows good takedown defense. Aldo Jr tries a head kick but it misses.

Thomas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Aldo Jr defends it nicely. Aldo Jr dodges the punch combination from Thomas.
Aldo Jr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Thomas's hands. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thomas is defended easily by Aldo Jr. Jose Aldo Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Thomas. Aldo Jr throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Thomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Aldo Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Thomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aldo Jr lands with a cross. Thomas has a takedown stuffed. Thomas tries for a takedown but Aldo Jr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Thomas looks gassed! Aldo Jr smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Thomas. Aldo Jr throws a head kick that Thomas semi-blocks.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Aldo Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aldo Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thomas is defended easily by Aldo Jr. Thomas shoots for a takedown but Aldo Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Aldo Jr goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Thomas fails with a takedown attempt. Aldo Jr lands a big head kick that sends Thomas tumbling to the mat! Aldo Jr takes a step backwards and waves Thomas back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Thomas is rocked!
It looks like Jake Thomas has been cut. Aldo Jr throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Thomas crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Our winner, Jose Aldo Jr, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martial lands a head kick. Hanson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Martial lands with a cross. Tyler Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hanson closes the distance and clinches up with Martial, looking for a takedown. Hanson pushes Martial against the cage but Martial circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hanson dodges the punch combination from Martial.

and Martial counters with a slapping leg kick. Martial listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hanson misses with a body shot.
Martial avoids a punch combination nicely.
Martial digs a good hook to Hanson's body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Martial goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hanson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A left lands for Martial. Hanson closes the distance but Martial moves to the side and Martial counters with a head kick. That will keep Hanson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Hanson shoots in for a double leg but Martial sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bonifacio Martial has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Hanson. Hanson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martial's waist but Martial gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hanson off to one side. Hanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martial is fending him off so far but Hanson persists. Nope, Martial circles away and we're back to standing. Hanson looks gassed! Hanson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Martial counters with a leg kick. Martial lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fighters circle, before Martial throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hanson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Martial lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

It looks like Sean Kingston has been cut. Totoy Bato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bato throws a series of punches but Kingston moves out of range. Kingston tries to clinch up and Bato counters with a left and a right that stings Kingston. Bato lands with a shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kingston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bato moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bato showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kingston.

Bato slaps away a takedown attempt from Kingston, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kingston misses with a wild combination.

Bato throws a shot from downtown. Kingston moves away and avoids it. Kingston tries to bum rush Bato with a series of wild strikes but Bato uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kingston fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bato, pushing him back against the cage. Kingston pulls guard successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bato wants to stand but Kingston has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bato gets to his feet. Kingston looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bato misses with a straight right. Kingston falls off balance throwing a combination

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Kingston tries to clinch up and Bato counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kingston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kingston moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kingston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Totoy Bato dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sean Kingston's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bato lands an overhand right. Bato throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kingston drives through with a takedown into Bato's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bato avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bato keeping moving, preventing Kingston from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bato had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kingston defends it easily. Kingston trying to control but Bato is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sean Kingston has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Kingston tries to clinch but Bato moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kingston was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kingston looking to control but Bato is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Bato is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bato is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kingston working Bato over with strikes here. Kingston dominating with strikes here. Bato sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. This has been an exciting period of action! Bato is looking for a sweep. Kingston is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bato won't allow Kingston to pass to mount. Kingston is working for a kimura but Bato is defending it quite comfortably.
Bato wants to control but Kingston is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sean Kingston overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kingston is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bato has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kingston is working away from the top position though. Kingston throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bato works his way to full guard. Good work. Bato looking for a guillotine here but Kingston defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bato keeping moving, preventing Kingston from controlling successfully. Kingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kingston with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bato has his feet on Kingston's thighs here. He's pushed Kingston off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kingston screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
