and Jokinen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sanchez avoids the body shot from Jokinen.
Jokinen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
Jokinen throws a shot from downtown. Sanchez moves away and avoids it. Jokinen misses the shot to the body. Sanchez swinging wildly here.

Sanchez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jokinen moves away. Sanchez throws an overhand right that lands on Jokinen's shoulder, as Jokinen tries to avoid the shot. Jokinen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sanchez.
Jokinen stuns Sanchez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Jokinen. Sanchez does a little dance to reset his feet. Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sanchez ducks under a wild hook from Jokinen. Sanchez loads up on a big right hand but Jokinen slips the punch.

Jokinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sanchez throws out the jab. Jokinen thuds a left hand into Sanchez's body. Sanchez looks gassed! Jokinen avoids the body shot from Sanchez.
Sanchez thows a left - swing and a miss! Sanchez misses with a combination
and Jokinen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jokinen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Jokinen scores with a jab to the body. Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jokinen lands a jab. Jokinen connects with a right that clearly hurt Sanchez. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Jokinen proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Sanchez collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Raith moves into the clinch. Haukka swings wildly with an uppercut but Raith uses good head movement to avoid it. Haukka with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Raith lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Raith is working for a kimura but Haukka is defending it quite comfortably.
Haukka is breathing heavily.

Raith bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haukka's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Raith dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Haukka tries to avoid it but Raith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Haukka to the ground. Haukka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Haukka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Raith, pushing him back against the cage. Haukka throws a knee to the head but misses.

Raith manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Haukka controlling from the top position.
Haukka is posturing up here but Raith has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Haukka tries to roll out but it's too tight and Haukka has to tap! Slick submission there by Raith!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gonzalez is not content to let Kottari control the position. Gonzalez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kottari has just dragged him back down to the mat. Kottari controls the position from side control. Kottari lands some shots froms side control.

Lars Voller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bam Neely. Voller is looking to slow Neely down with leg kicks. No luck for Neely with that takedown attempt. Neely shoots and misses and Voller counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Neely looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Neely shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Voller defends it nicely. That kick from Voller tenderised Neely's leg. Neely is trying to keep his angry face on. Voller scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Voller thows a body kick. Neely tries to catch it but that hurt him. Neely is trying desperately to land a takedown but Voller is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Neely. Neely on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Voller looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Neely looks out on his feet and Voller throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Draugovich Ii keeps the fight on the outside. Knox takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Knox tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Draugovich Ii manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Draugovich Ii avoids a punch combination nicely.
Knox tries to sprawl but Draugovich Ii drives through with a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Draugovich Ii wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knox keeps working. Knox is looking to escape. Knox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Draugovich Ii is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Knox! Draugovich Ii landing shots from mount.

Koscheck bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Degratov is trying to get back to his feet.
Koscheck is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Degratov is trying to escape and Koscheck transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Degratov is forced to tap! Nice work there by Koscheck! Very nice indeed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ross Koscheck! Ross Koscheck looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'I've been waiting a very long time to get Sune back in that ring...Sune stop runnin...just face me'.
