1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, JJ Canas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Devin Kane! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Kane.
Canas misses with a takedown attempt - Kane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kane misses with a series of wild punches.
Canas fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kane checks it well. Canas misses with a double jab.
An inside leg kick from Canas misses. Canas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Canas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Canas swings around for an armbar but Kane sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Canas's guard. Canas has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Canas. Canas is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Kane is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Canas is looking to get to half guard. Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Canas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Canas is working hard here to advance position. Kane is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Canas is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Canas. Canas looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well. Kane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kane has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Canas is proving hard to escape from. Canas working for a triangle but Kane defends it easily.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kane! Canas tries to get back to half guard but can't. Canas pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kane tumbling to the mat - Canas dives into Kane's guard. Canas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bam is backing up but he can't get away as Roxas lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Bam and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shields closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Shields throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Trainor dodges the ground and pound from Shields. Trainor tries to escape but Shields is in control. Trainor wants to control but Shields postures up. Shields is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Trainor's shoulder. That is not cool. Trainor struggling a bit here. Trainor holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Trainor tries to bench press Shields off him but Shields keeps the position. Trainor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Trainor seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Shields has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trainor stops Shields from passing to mount. Shields wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trainor keeps working. Trainor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Trainor manages to get to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shields accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Trainor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shields is one step ahead there.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Shields tries to improve his position but instead Trainor has taken his back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Trainor controlling the positon. Trainor has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Shields has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Trainor is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Shields knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Shields for a finish. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Trainor thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Askren shoots for a double leg takedown but Palazuelos sprawls well. He's pushed Askren's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Askren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Palazuelos as he jumps to the side. Askren throws a right and a left that Palazuelos avoids nicely. Palazuelos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Askren looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Palazuelos scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Palazuelos stuffs the takedown attempt from Askren. Askren gets slowly back to his feet. Enric Palazuelos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Askren. Palazuelos comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Horrible takedown by Askren or perhaps it was just good defense by Palazuelos which made him look bad. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Askren is defended easily by Palazuelos. Askren looks gassed! Askren doesn't manage to clinch there - Palazuelos circles away.
Palazuelos feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Askren's calf. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Askren moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Palazuelos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. and Palazuelos counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Askren! He's just covering up as Palazuelos starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a kick to the body.
Peloski shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jackson throws a head kick that misses. Jackson is looking to clinch but Peloski is avoiding it.
Jackson lands with a nice body punch. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson wants to clinch. Peloski drives through with a takedown into Jackson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Peloski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Peloski has Jackson in his guard. Peloski ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jackson scores with a hook to the body. Peloski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jackson fakes the leg kick and cracks Peloski in the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A solid body kick from Jackson. Peloski is breathing heavily. Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

That has opened up Petey Peloski's cut even more. Lyoto Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. Jackson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jackson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jackson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Peloski takes a step back to recover. Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A solid body kick from Jackson. Jackson connects with a leg kick. Peloski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jackson lands a big uppercut and Peloski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Peloski looks OK. Jackson waves Peloski back to his feet!
Peloski is rocked! Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Jackson! This one is all over!
